The new update CU29 for Halo Infinite is now out and with it comes a new map called Illusion which has A LOT of really cool secrets and easter eggs hidden all around the map!

Yeah. We make do with what we have. At least 343 learned recently that it is a lot about fun and not just sweaty matches. Halo can still have a good future if 343 remembers to test everything first and not release the game too early. The hit registration and map design was really what hurt the slayer experience at first. Besides that it was a pretty good game even early on. Now that they have made Infinite a good game, I have some hope for 343

The wheels on the forklifts do not spin when you drive them. Looks like they attached the driving ability to the preexisting forklift model

if you break all of the oni name-tags it will open the forklift doors on either side of the map. that way you can drive them with more room.

It could get a bit boring without that kind of content. Most people have probably seen a majority of the base map, but less people have seen outside the map and the finer details. Generalkidd has us covered when it comes to interesting content

The moving platform thing is Payload. The BR schematic is in Oasis. The Halo room does open in Infection. The forklifts are drivable and move the forks up and down. Also they have CRAZY physics that need to be tweaked.

maybe, people have wanted 343 gone for awhile (personally i feel its unfair as though halo 5 was really bad and mcc's launch was bad and infinites launch was bad, i feel like demanding they be replaced is extreme, though they tend to not release full products im glad they have at least stayed better than a lot of other gaming companies that exist out in the wild especially nowadays)

We would have probably gotten something by now if they were leaving. With the MCC not really receiving attention anymore they probably have more in mind they can do for Halo

@JimHalpertFromTheOffice yeah though they probably didn't really much on it, since they're not used to doing rpg type games, which is why they reached out to creative assembly. Even if they were more involved. HW 2 is still a really good game. I know they've said before that they had no plans to make a third. But with the new leadership in 343, there is a possibility, and an even greater possibility that it's just as good as the others.

The only FPS game where you have to maintain a constant damage in someone to get a kill. Where you can outplay the opponent even if they shoot you first. A game that doesn’t rely on killstreaks, perks, and attachments. Just you. Guns. Nades. Aiming. That’s it.

Technically all fps games require a consistent damage value and can outplay people even if shot first buutt I’m being a smart ass. Halo does this perfectly and I believe makes it better for that reason. A vet halo player can do well on cod but a vet cod player wouldn’t do well on halo👍🏽

i would assume the floating lights are from a mapper creating a "palette" of usable light models during the creation of the map. when the map was finished, the devs probably forgot to delete them.
