Halo MCC: Halo 3 Campaign Mod- Banished Campaign Pt. 4

What's up peeps and welcome back to another Halo 3 mod showcase! In this video, we will continue to look at the Banished Campaign mod, this time on a modified version of The Storm. This is Halo 3 - Banished, created by GLaDOSkiller69!

As explained in the other videos covering this campaign, this mod offers a perspective switch on the traditional Halo 3 campaign. Instead of playing as the Master Chief, you play as Craig the Brute among the ranks of The Banished as he fights under then-Sergeant Escharum and an Elite companion. As a Banished soldier, you fight alongside other races such as grunts and brutes. This means you are also an enemy of both the Human-Elite allies AND any Covenant splinter factions. Now that your fighting against the allies, expect to see some heavier firepower and bigger muscle such as the Elite Zealot. All this and more to come in the future.
Some of the features this mod has to offer are:
- Playable Brute
- New weapons (Just Brute plasma rifle for now)
- Alien allies
- New enemy variants
- New Banished themed vehicles
- More AI battles
-New background props added
-Heavy Phantom with 3 turrets (to mimic Halo 2's Phantom)
I'm happy that an update to the Banished Campaign finally came out, and it was worth the wait! The Storm is a nice addition to the other campaign levels that have been converted to fit the Banished theme. GLaDOSkiller69 once again did an amazing job and I can't wait to play the next level!

how and why we haven't gotten spin-off where we fight the UNSC and other Covenant Remnants is beyond me....fuck tons of potential there given how chaotic the galaxy is after the war.

I know that some people make there own spin offs with mods in games that have good mod tools. Maybe the MCC mod tools will allow that to happen

What I think they should've done is making various spin-offs about the conflicts you mentioned, slowly building up the Banished as the new main threat (because that's they are the only post-war enemies who actually felt threatning) and only making an official Halo 4 once 343i had a clear plan and goal for their trilogy.

Shouldn't you be fighting the covenant as the banished along with fighting the UNSC, the banished were enemies of the covenant after all

The mod creator has the old shared.map and campaign.map available for download to work with these, but the new Floodgate release doesn't require the old maps to run it.
