Halo MCC: Halo 3 Campaign Mod- Swords of Sangheilos Campaign Pt. 3

Hello there and welcome to another Halo 3 campaign mod showcase! In this video, we will be taking a look at the third installation of the Swords of Sangheilos Campaign. This is Swords of Sangheilos - Tsavo Highway by RedCarno!

Like the first two levels, the point of this mod is to depict a "what if" scenario in where the Swords of Sangheilos were a faction during the events of Halo 3. In this you play as an elite named N'tho 'Sraom with grey armor instead of his usual blue. New weapon additions are added to the game and some existing weapons are modified as well. Brutes are recolored, and you have Allied grunts and elite throughout the campaign.
A list of some of the changes in this mod include:
-You now play as an elite.
-Allied grunts and elites and sometimes hunters through out the campaign.
-Master Chief NPC.
-Changed brute ranks and colors.
-New weapons including the Electric Rifle, Pistol Repeater, Mangler from Halo Infinite, and Brute Plasma Rifle
-Updated Assault Rife sounds
-Removed Cortana Cutscenes
-3rd person Brute Shot
-Flame Warthog
This Sangheilos style level was just as fun to play as the first two levels and I can't wait for the rest of the campaign to come out. I'd highly recommend giving RedCarno's mod a go!

A shame the Spectre never made it to Halo 3, would have been an ideal replacement for the Hog! Also, Allied Hunters, hell yes! Really bugged me how they weren't among the Swords of Sangheilos!

Halo 3 Covenant Allies should have been Elites, Grunts and Hunters while Covenant Enemies should have been Brutes, Jackals and Drones

It really was a shame the Hunters weren't there in the Swords of Sangheilios in Halo 5 they would've been badass allies

Oh that would've been sweet wish we could've seen Ally Grunts fighting along with the elites at the start or possibly between the mission

Yeah a shame it was short and its always Promethean nearly ever mission has promethans in it and not Covenant really shame they killed off Jul M'dama

Always found it interesting first we were playing As the arbiter in Halo 2 going after heretics and then Halo 3 and near the end of Halo 2 elites vs brutes same with halo 3 then in halo 5 when it’s the swords vs the storm faction covenant or whatever. Elites vs elites is almost the equivalent to Boba fett going after the clones with the 501st legion during the kamino uprising like the whole brothers vs brothers idea.

Really cool - Just wish there were still some human NPCs in the level alongside you. Also wish for SOS vehicles for you to use that arent just human.

For a lot of the instances where characters say “Chief”, you could maybe just whack some radio static over just the word chief?
