Halo Mega Construx Stop Motion: Escape of off Reach

FO have been stranded on reach. Their only hope of escape is to make it to a covenant patrol unit and to hijack their phantom. All remaining unsc outposts have been abandoned and the last contact they had with another unsc personnel was spartan noble 6 who had disappeared several hours earlier. Now Fireteam Orino (FO) are potentially the last spartans on reach. Its either they hijack the phantom and escape or they die trying.....

This was a nice watch! I’m also glad I could help with the story by voice acting, I’ve gotta say, you did a pretty good job with the dialogue. Even if some lines were a bit quiet I liked the dynamic between the Spartans and how they treat each other. The animation was well handled too, I like the part where Wolf stabs the Phantom pilot. You made a simple escape story that much more entertaining!

I’d say 8 months ago making stop motion was a lot more common, but nowadays it feels like just not many people are interested. But the fact that you kept doing all you could to make good content even in modern day feels amazing. Keep up the great work!

Very nice. My two main complaints are the audio mixing and the Phantom hijack. Certain voice lines were louder than others, and in some cases music was overpowering the SFX. Just a personal issue on the Phantom. Technically it would make more sense for at least one Spartan to make a run for the Phantom after the search squad is distracted by the remaining Spartans. As soon as the Phantom crew realized the deployment was under attack, the drop ship would either use its guns for support or fly off, alerting nearby forces of the situation. Otherwise a very good animation with nice practical effects and fight choreography.

He was rlly nice to work with and his animations are incredible! I record all my audio into stop motion studio on my phone and then send it to my pc where I add the text, transitions and credits. I found you can get much bloodier looking blood by using white bluetac and colouring it in with red and black whiteboard markers It can take a bit to get it right but it really does look amazing

This was an entertaining 10 minutes! I love the custom characters, as I have made a few myself. I appreciate the time and effort it took to make this video, and I might make one soon. Some helpful tips: Include more vehicles in the next video. Maybe add a greenscreen and other effects. And I am going to try a first person stop motion! Maybe you can do something like that. This was amazing to sit and watch, and it probably took hours to make!

Im really glad you liked it man! It took rougly 4months to get the recording finished and 1 month to get the editing finished, so it took a while. Yeah, i have plans to add a warthog chase into my next animation to change the pace a bit. Good luck on doing a first person animation, im sure it will turn out great!

Great animation. Some things can be inproved however, the lighting put some grain on the camera which isnt a large problem but is noticable. Other is the audio is uneven in some lines. After those there really isnt anything good job!

I use a software called imovie to edit my videos. Its free on every apple device. If you have imovie, i imported the clip i want to edit and then added a title card and edited the text.

No that version of the mjolnir armour wouldnt be on reach, but i liked it so I kept it. It looked similar to the mk VI so I tried to change the chestplate so it would match

Most of them are just pop and swaps with a bit of paint applied on it like wolf( the grey recon) has a painted commando shoulder and visor. For the white spartan(Legend) i mainly used douglas’s chestplate painted white and an old mk IV helmet. But id say if you get the halo infinite spartan customiser pack you could make nearly all of them. Which spartan was your favourite?

Its a pop and swap fig so mega doesnt directly sell it, but you can buy all the pieces for it. Its made up of the halo infinite spartan armour pack and the white soldier spartan from halo 4.
