You'll probably never see this, but I just had to tell you what an inspiration you are to me. You mention here and there how you started out with Jon being basically homeless and then living on your apartment floor eating off of the dollar menu. Unfortunately, yesterday my boyfriend, my one year old son, and I became homeless after being verbally and physically assaulted by the person we were staying with. Knowing that you started out where we are and that you accomplished and superseded your dreams gives me hope that we can do it too. I can't tell you how good it felt to get my situation off of my mind for a few minutes and indulge in watching someone I love do an insanely awesome make up look. I've been subscribed to Jaclyn's channel for a while now and I just love the way she does makeup. Its normal to not like all of her videos, to like one makeup look more than the other, to appreciate a video more because she uses products that you know and love. Its also normal for her to use brand names that are more expensive, and trust me I feel you all when we can't pay for those high products. I personally just watch the videos to gain inspiration, not to buy the products, although I have in the past. She does do drug store videos and yeah I'd love to see them more too, but remember that she's a really famous beauty youtuber whos getting really far in life and shes discovering a lot of new makeup. So recommendations are good, but ladies and gentlemen, remember who you are too, you aren't supposed to be tearing each other down, and that goes for tearing down her too. There's a specific way to say things, learn how to do it. None of us are saints, so stop acting like it. Leave love and opinions!

I notice this with every video, but never comment on it. The intro music is so incredibly loud compared to you actually talking. I have to put the volume slider nearly to mute every time. CaLi GiRl well it could be a number of things, the brush, the shadow, the application. I'd say invest in a good pencil brush and use more than one shadow to smoke it out start with a light brown then a shade lighter than the one you want as liner and follow it up with the main color you want to use

Maybe it's the camera but i don't know if the finish of that hourglass foundation is great on you. Maybe it's just so full coverage but it seems a little cakey? I hated that foundation! I don't see how it could look good on anybody. It seemed cakey and I could feel it on my skin. I don't have oily skin either. A little oily throughout the day, but nothing bad at all. I exfoliate regularly also.

However, I don't use it often, and in this case I used it simply to catch her attention and relate to her a little more- again not a big deal. I am such a huge fan of your make-up tutorials, your videos, even your makeup line with becca! And i was wondering after watching a few of your videos back to back lol you mentioned how important it is to have the right brushes for doing your makeup. And I'm still somewhat new to getting to know ALL the different types of brushes to use for the face,eyes, etc. But I'm extremely eager to learn more! So i was hoping you could make a detailed video explaining what types of brushes are the best for applying eye makeup, face makeup, brows, etc. Because that would be such a HUGE help to me and i know so many other people would benefit from it too!
