Scott Porter was the beatboxer before Layne stepped up to do it when Scott left.

Fun fact: Scott was the original beatboxer and when he left, Layne wanted to try. So that little “red team, blue team” moment is like a little face-off. Still competitive I guess This is Layne’s arrangement, so he was in charge of video and audio edits, sending it off to Ed Boyer, king of Acapella mixers for a final polish.

Elizabeth Zaroff (The Charasmatic Singer) did a reaction to this with Marty O’Donnell, the composer of Halo. Not only did he like it, but at one point he said he wished he had thought of doing what Layne did in the arrangement. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should react to VoicePlay’s The Dragonborn Comes / Skyrim.

Have you done their other one with no words? That would be In the Hall of the Mountain King. There fun one from January 24 is The Lion Sleeps Tonight which started off as a mini but they were having so much fun Layne extended it to a regular length but still in the mini format.
