Seems to me you heated the environment above room temperature (25°C) for the bromine 😮

How about freezing chlorine in liquid nitrogen and lettingin re-thaw and re-boil? Or iodine in liquid nitrogen? Or condensing fluorine in liquid nitrogen and letting it reboil?

Why frozen bromine took so long to melt
@Almost_Superluminal Жыл бұрын
i think she waited so long so the gas fills the jar again as it was in the beginning but idk why it took so long maybe the temperature outside was cold so it took longer than it would if the temperature outside was like 40degrees

Playing with liquid nitrogen with no gloves not clever
@scirvy Жыл бұрын
Gloves actually make it worse! It makes the glove stick to your skin and freeze it more, whereas if you get liquid nitrogen on your hand it will bead and fall too fast to injure you

also it isnt really that dangerous it is only dangerous if u keep your hands in it for longer time but even if it spills on ur hand for low amount of time nothing will happen someone on utube explains it
