Yes Kayaking/boating is extra, it’s around 50000 VND or Rs.170 per person.

So a day trip is good 👍...cruise isnt mandatory to visit these areas. Also cat ba island trip is available from Ha long bay old quaters or its only available on cruise. Very informative video. Thank you for the updates
