I am certainly no expert but - she skipped that step going up as well. The particular step is not like the others - look closer there are what I assume to be the pyro things used later for the fire. Her footstep looks intentionally going further than the step including the little "jump" if you will - and the automatic reaction is not the same as when the body is balancing off to compensate from a missed step - it seems expected and calculated :)
