When you suffer deep depression, you pray for someone to care enough to dig down and find you. At the same time, you love them enough to want to protect them from it 💔
@aloha.75184 жыл бұрын
💡I honestly, came digging through the comments for and explanation of what this dance was about, it's so good I wanted to understand and this is what makes the most sense to me. I hope that if you or anyone is going through or has gone through something like that, I pray you're situation gets better an soon have complete peace of mind.
@MAR1ANA-h4m4 жыл бұрын
yeah but what Halsey is saying is that even though she wanted to saver her loved one from depression, she couldn't. And that relationship wasn't good for her
@Frogonalog5674 жыл бұрын
I think what Halsey is saying is that she went too far with the person's challenges that she harmed herself. There is a way to support someone and be there for them without absorbing all of their problems and pain, but this love went to that extreme. The lyrics "when the hand you hold is a weapon", "the thing you love is the detriment", and "warning signs can feel like they're butterflies" makes it seem like this love has become harmful/ toxic. I really wanted it to be a positive love song, but the more I read into the song the more I realized... The dancers did a beautiful job though.

I've never seen anything so beautiful. The psychologically behind the choreography is so raw and so many people can relate to the struggle of trying to save the one that you love and instead of pulling them up they pull you down. Too bad that a lot of the commenters are focused more on sexuality than the art that's displayed in front of them.

💯 Exactly. Maybe that the point of the individual perception. For example, I thought they are 2 parts of the same person's mind, who fights against personal issues.

That very last past made me cry. She is on the ground and the other girl comes and lays with her as though to say "im here im not leaving you. Im not going to try and make everything better im just going to lay with you untill you can get back up" and sometimes that is all someone needs. To me this is about soneone who is having real struggles in their life and someone trying to help them by picking them back up. But then they realise they just need to be there for them. Honestly so beautiful and it made me cry.

Gorgeous yet Tortured! I know myself and many people can relate to the intensity of a toxic relationship, it's all highs and lows and drama. I would long for normalcy during abusive episodes but then would miss the chaos which is so sick. I think this song is possibly about her getting over the rush of chaos. She definitely chose two of the best women/artists in the game to play this out for her. 👑
