The Lighthouse lyrics are EVERYTHING. Using sirens who lure sailors to their death as a metaphor is so fire

A walkman is a tape player not a cd player lmao millennials are always trying to make themselves seem older than they are 😂
@MgMettle2 жыл бұрын
I agree..sort of. There was a Sony Walkman CD player.
@kaycie922 жыл бұрын
@@MgMettle regardless lol she said she was listening to a cd, and then said "walkman" which most people associate with tapes. No one thought she was "aged" when she said she was listening to a cd, but she had to add in "walkman" to feel special
@MgMettle2 жыл бұрын
@@kaycie92 I merely pointed out the fact that cd walkmans exist since you made a sweeping statement.

It's really not that complicated. For her age, she listened mostly to cds. The *"mixed tape"* doesn't have to be literal. It's just a fun metaphor provided to discuss various songs and music. What was H supposed to do? Say she couldn't play the fun game because she listened to cds, most of which were probably cds in cd players, but some could've also been listened to through a walkman cd. Those existed for a time. Wow. 🤦
@kaycie922 жыл бұрын
@@jentalksbooks it's not that serious. She does this a lot in interviews where she acts like something is weird or rare or exclusive when it isn't. She didn't age herself at all, and she was just listening to a cd player.
