It's not "live". TECHNICALLY she's lip-syncing. But, she's lip-syncing to a prerecording that she did at THAT location. Recording at location with the in-house acoustics makes it less obvious they're lip-syncing for the moments they switch the mic on the talk to the audience. I know because I do a lot of the tech work behind the scenes and can hear it. Basically when the place was empty, she did the recording while sitting down under optimal conditions. Then I later sample each good cut and splice them all together in sync to create a normal song with all the best parts. So later on stage she can walk around and dance without sounding out of breathe. Don't get me wrong, she's got a great voice and I love her music, which is why I'm here. Just stating the facts because if you go to a concert of hers and you're the 2nd of a double header that day, she won't sound that good. Even though I don't like his music TOO much, Bon Jovi is the most legit live performer I've ever seen/heard. Walking in with my backpack and briefcase to setup one time to help with the next concert, I was listening and he sounded so good and I couldn't even tell it was a prerecord. So I asked, "who did his sampling? It's flawless...". I was met with, "No one, he's rolling live". O.O I'm looking at this guy running around on stage and dancing like a kid. He's very impressive from a technical stand point.

in RS she said it was the angriest performance she's ever done (with the whole show, not just this song), but she doesn't look angry. She just looks tired and a little weak. I grimaced when she did the grinding part. You can tell she couldn't do it the normal way she always does, I can't even imagine how painful it was (even tho she took painkillers. And yet she still looks so beautiful and confident and sounds amazing. She does so much for us. I love her so much and care about her so deeply, it breaks my heart to know that literally hours before this she miscarried. okay so the first time I watched this I just about died. like the grind, the mic, you get the point. and then I remembered that this was that set. and I watched it again and you can just read it in her face. all of the anger and sarcasm just rolling off of her and I didn't even see it the first time. and honestly what a badass. she just went through one of the hardest things a woman could go through, and she went out and preformed. she is so unbelievably strong, and anyone who hates on her for this should be ashamed.
