Un anchoring for destruction is always good to see... Can't we see something more original for effects? I really loved the meltdown concepts, but it is sad to see it go to waste with the bad destruction effects. It could have worked better if maybe there was an animation first.

animating models in this scale is a very difficult task to achieve, and as of right now we don't have any animators hence why we just unanchor stuff.
