Haltech Hero of the Year 2021 is back - with a new car! Eric Kutil is no stranger to Gridlife or Haltech. After badly damaging his car while chasing the series win at GLTC last year, Eric decided to build a new, faster and stronger car. This is a story of one man's passion, determination and vision to turn a serious mishap into a new beginning. . Something worth noting here, that Eric seems to have not mentioned...I cannot stress enough how awesome some of his feedback from IG Stories was too. Running through what he was doing, I'd ask questions as a fellow Honda owner and he was more than happy to answer them. Top bloke/10, very much deserving of an immensely capable car with great support behind it. Special props to Hybrid Racing too, all of the gear in that car just looks (and I'm sure feels) fantastic.

@EricKutilRacing any time mate, if I can build my B16A Sol to anywhere near the level of your Civics (with a Haltech setup certainly in mind), I'll be very happy. Thanks again for the detailed replies :)

So this comes across my feed today. I have to slow the playback speed down just to digest how much went in to this build. I was glad you went into all the details because my brain processed it like this when I saw the opening shot. Guy finds great hood vent off a mustang and has to build a monster to handle all of that goodness! Love the build!

Great build. I'm interested in seeing what's your lap time with your current setu at Mid-Ohio with the chicane?

What throttle body is being used? Does the vibration destroy them?
@EricKutilRacing Жыл бұрын
9th gen si, no issues with it. I used a thick rubber gasket to isolate any vibrations
