It's not their fault particularly, it's just that they don't realize the bubble they live in. I live in the South US, and it's very difficult to find a good corned beef anywhere even in corporate grocery stores. Let alone find a place that serves it fresh. Rye is easy to find. I personally love corned beef and rye and wish more people in the South agreed with me lol.
