I updated this morning and started playing with it. Then found this video 😂 I just set up my Quattro Friday. So it was cool to see how well this little tool works, and easy it is to update.

I think Ham Clock is the best thing to happen for ham radio in years.

Thanks for great video! I actually was prompted tonight while booting up that there was an update, and if I wanted to apply it -fyi. Also found that on lower left I could at live spots to see a long list under my call sign! 73s

I’m glad you liked the video. They added the option to use the lower left to display a longer list in a previous release. I just prefer to leave DE and DX there.

I had another question, about showing spots from APRS stations, digipeated thru the ISS ? There is a web page to show this, but I thought it would be great on this map ! Thanks again !

I didn’t create the Ham Clock. I just use it. My Patreon team and I had a small amount of input regarding version 4.09. I will send your request to the developer.

@n4hnhradio hay that's great, it's more the I can do, I think it would be great to have that work!

Processing power and connection reliability can affect performance. The original Ham Clock shipped on a Veritium device called the ESP unit. It was called HF Clock. It has been left behind. Its processor couldn’t handle any versions after 3.10. Mine is stuck at 3.10. It lost functions it had previously been capable of because new functions gobbled up so much bandwidth that it could no longer process old functions. I can no longer click a callsign in the DX cluster and be given the distance or beam heading. Interactive functions were severely hindered. I have figured a static usefulness for it. I might cover it in a future video. So I don’t want the developer to add so much that we lose the most useful functionality that it already has.

@n4hnhradio I can understand that, 🤔 , I would still vote to add it, hope for the best, but your rite, it is getting fancy ! , thanks for your info, I hadn't thought of that 😀

EXCELLENT 😊 Can the DX Cluster be band specific?
@n4hnhradio4 күн бұрын
Yes, it can.

@@n4hnhradio How?
@n4hnhradio4 күн бұрын
In the setup, add a line to the Cluster commands that reads as: accept/spot 3 on 28000/29600. That will filter to only the 10m band. The accept/spot 3 assumes that you have already used filters 0, 1, and 2. So just use the next available number. I have already used filters 0, 1, and 2.

Thanks so much for showing the cluster info ! I have not yet seen your other videos, I'm hoping to add a filter to remove or not see the CW spots also, how do I add that filter please ? I'm just trying to learn this cool ham clock feature . Thanks again !
@n4hnhradio5 күн бұрын
In the video you well see my spider commands. The second line reads as: On: rej/spot 0 on all/data It filters out data modes. Change it to: On: rej/spot 0 on all/data or on all/cw

Click 30m again and see if the blue dot goes away.

Double-check that you keyed in dxspider.co.uk and port 7300. Use your callsign for the login. If so, leave it alone for a couple of hours.
