Another question…does it also detect if the SV has failed?.. What if SV fails and if the ECU doesn’t detect this then would it not turn on the pump and would this not damage the tubings and the pump mechanically? I assumed that pump doesn’t have high pressure protection

"It doesn’t detect or indicate if the SV fails. The pump can be damaged due to dry running if the SV fails. Hence, we place a warning sticker on the front of all our machines stating: 'If the purifier runs with no wastewater, turn off immediately and call a technician.'"

Branded companies use UV detectors to sense if UV is faulty or not. You are using a current sensing system. Is this reliable?…I’m sure you must have done rigorous testing. I’m asking this because most of the branded companies don’t use current based sensing and I just don’t know why since your system is so much simpler and inexpensive

Only Eureka Forbes, in their Aquaguard series, has been providing a UV detector, also known as a photo sensor or LDR, for the last 40 years. However, the same company now offers a current-sensing system in their Aquasure series. Nowadays, other companies like Pureit, Kent, and Whirlpool also use current-sensing systems to indicate UV failure, as it is reasonably reliable. Even Alfa UV, which is India's largest industrial manufacturing company, provides a current-sensing system in all their domestic and commercial machines. in their high-end segments which is preferred by pharmaceutical companies They use an intensity meter which senses and displays the intensity of UV rays not just light like photo sensor.

Sorry for the late reply . As you know we don't manufacture anything. We just assemble our Purifier with best possible & available quality in India. We buy UV system from 'Alfa' company which is India's biggest manufacturer of Industrial UV system. And UV ballast from 'Accord' who supply electronic components to some of the established brand in India. Like Pureit (HUL), AO Smith, Blue Star etc. Still 1 or 2 out of 100 UV ballast can fail in warranty period. Hence I will request you to kindly contact us on 9322647227. आपका कहना 50% सही है l Inbuilt Mosfet based UV ballast और UV failure indication Kent मे भी है l लेकिन Kent में UV life indication नहीं है l Magnetic sensor हम दोनों देते हैं l लेकिन उनका सिर्फ 2 इंच का है और हमारा 4.5 इंच का है l उनका Auto Flushing system दूसरों की तरह हर ON & OFF cycle पर activate होता है l जिससे Membrane की life तो बढ़ जाती है, लेकिन बाकी के filters की life कम हो जाती है l और पानी भी बहुत ज्यादा waste हो जाता है l वही हमारा Auto Flushing system ON & OFF के 10 cycles के बाद, एक बार ही activate होता है l Kent के मशीन में Pump Delay System भी नहीं है l
