Quite early on in the conflict, when it came out that Hamas was actively preventing civilians from evacuating to the south, I commented that the United Nations should send troops to assist the civilian evacuees to safety. If the UN really cared about civilians, the would have done that. Instead, they grabbed the chance to condemn Israel and never once called for Hamas to surrender. And now that the conflict is moving south, the civilians are left with little wiggle room. So why doesn't the world DO something about it? Pressure should be exerter on the neighboring Muslim nations to provide temporary tent cities for the civilians so they can get out of harms way and Israel can then go all out in eliminating Hamas. The war will then surely end in a matter of days.

UN /Unra has proved itself as totally biased and pro Palestinian and anti Israel - If it was the just / unbiased organization it was meant to be that would be different. About 2 civilians have been killed for every Hamas fighter, according to the UN. Even if it was as high as 3, that is on the low end for military conflicts, especially for urban warfare. Also, Hamas posts videos of fighters with machine guns and rocket launchers wearing civilian clothes - do they get counted as Hamas, or innocent civilian when they get killed? As for the "displacement" of people, they are displaced by 10-20km and only temporarily.

The problem is that Hamas took hold of Gaza by force in the civil war of 2008. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, and the Fatach was supposed to be in charge. But even then Hamas was a blood thirsty terror organization so they literally executed Their own brothers in Gaza… After taking control of Gaza they started dispersing all ofthe UNRAW aid and took taxes from The palestinian people. Some of which, up until 7/10 were working inside Israel! Hamas used tons of money to get help and military training from Iran and also started getting funds from Qatar, to a tune of about 30M$ a month…. Where did all of this money go? How come the infrastructure in Gaza never improved and So many people are in poverty in Gaza. Hamas brought havoc on the lives on the very people they claimed to represent, not Israel.

Why not take over Gaza? It is unfortunate that Niall Ferguson calls it "occupation." It's not occupation, it's part of Israel according to the San Remo Resolution, and the border between Israel and Gaza is just a ceasefire line. Isn't it true that both Israelis and Palestinians lived way better before the "peace process," when Gaza was a part of Israel? Way back when Gaza was a part of Egypt, Israel's prime minister called it "a knife pointing at the heart of Israel." And it will remain such a knife whether it is governed by Hamas or Fatah. And the UN Blue Helmets are even worse, as can be seen in Southern Lebanon. Little known fact: Norwegian troops were part of the Blue Helmets in Southern Lebanon. They came home to Norway converted anti-Zionist antisemites, and helped turn Norway against Israel.

After Iraq was defeated, Kuwait expelled the Palestinian and set up a ban against them that was lifted only a few years ago. The list is never ending, wherever they go, terrorism and war follow them. Hamas are the most inhumane vile organization alive, compared only to the infamous ISIS. Killing, beheading, their “enemies” and their own. They are not even hiding it, they filmed their whole atrocious acts with their body cams and their cellphones and their victims cell phones On 7th of October. Hamas has been involved through many years in at least 3 rounds of missile attacks on Israel since they took over the area from Fatach in an internal civil war. That is so shameful to think of what they actually did to their own brothers and sisters over there…Now since they effectively became the ruler they even started collecting taxes from the people in Gaza. How did that play out? Did Gaza became a better place to live since they took Over? Of course not! Because they don’t really care about making palestinian lives better. All they care is destroying Israel and killing jews and inforce their terror regime as much as possible. This is the reason it is an official designated terror entity in all of the modern western democratic countries. And this is why they support Israel in their actions.
