Israel behaved more humanely in this conflict than any other conceivable party in any imaginable conflict. They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. While Humus was building rockets and tunnels with all the foreign aid, Israel supplied their civilians with free water and electricity. The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. Imagine for a second that if Hamas took all the foreign aid from Iran and the UN and developed Gaza for economic purposes with casinos, resorts, cruise ship docks, golf courses and made that area a destination along the Mediterranean…instead they developed tunnels, small arms, suicide vests, command networks, communication tunnels and a small Army. Victim blaming is when you go out on a stroll at night, get beaten and mugged, and when you report the crime the police officer at the station tells you that it's your own fault for being outside after dark. In this case it's more akin to you beating and mugging some guy on the street, this guy finding out where you live and beating you half to death with his brothers. I doubt that most people would find it controversial if the police officer told you that it was your own fault for beating and mugging him in the first place.
