I think Valencia could be cool. The arts and sciences building is incredible.

great to see that the workshop went well for you Greg and I'm sure the attendees will have a fine collection of images to be editing after visiting the city. Some beautiful locations visited by the looks of it

Beautiful shots. Looks like your scouting really paid off. Great that the German people value architecture highly to produce these places.

The joy of teaching a subject you are skilled at is a winning combination! Your positive nature no doubt contributed to the success of the workshop. Great overview, Greg!

Awesome images, gives inspiration to give architectural photography ago. I've lost interest in landscape photography. Would you say its easier to take these kind of images in Europe compared to in the UK?
@gregorsnell10 ай бұрын
Good question. In all honesty I’m not sure. I guess it varies. I do think London is pretty good for cityscapes and architecture. 👍

Just looking at May, where did you stay?
@gregorsnell10 ай бұрын
Hi Nigel, there are a few options. Anything nearby Mindspace Hamburg at Rödingsmarkt. A few of the photographers in May are staying at the Motel One Hamburg-Fleetinsel. It's going to be the same weekend as the 835th Hamburg Port Anniversary, which is going to be awesome! That hotel is right nearby where all the good photo action will be held.

I don't like as a born hamburger your "running gag", that the weather in Hamburg is 300 days a year moody or rainy. It's an urban myth. And many hamburgers believe it. So often it's repeating everybody. If you look at meteorology tables, your could realise ,that for example Munich is more rainy than Hamburg. Or look at maps for solar panels, with the sunny hours a year and month at different places in Germany. Have you ever heard the image of Munich as a typical rainy city? Anybody? That's the effect of the confirmation bias. You are such a smart charming guy, who praise different locations and some local food. Man, its winter now, and in winter the weather is not the best in Germany. Or west Europe. We are not in california. PS. Cool video.
