@@spurious_emissions Yes I Mike and Key in Puyallup Washington is very large. Coming up in March. I am going to Dayton this May for only my 2nd time so pretty happy about that!

I'm a collector of older boat anchors whos prices have gone up 3 fold and more. I can imagine what the new equipment such as the transceivers of Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu cost. A good indication is that they don't tell you the price unless you're sitting down and i noticed they have oxygen and smelling salts nearby.

My Background is CB radio but as I get older Ham Radio would be next progression what about used Equipment for sale

I think you would enjoy the hobby. There are many clubs that welcome and support new hams out there. Not sure what part of the country you are in but Hamcation is a great show to visit as well. If you do go this year perhaps I'll see you there. I do have getting started information about ham radio at delaney.rocks

What was the attendance numbers this year ?

This year's Hamcation Orlando attendance was 21,830. It was the third largest for Hamcation.

Curious as to what you film with? Regular selfie stick or some kind of setup? Gimbal? Very nice and high above the crowd so you get everything and don't get in peoples face. Very well done!

It is a gimbal camera I'd be happy to show you at one of the meetings. I do hold it up high to catch the vendor booths and avoid people, especially in crowded circumstances. I can bring it to a meeting if you would like to see it.

I never understood why these hamfest organizers never have but one ticket windows, 1 person at a time to get a ticket. That many people waiting to get in..come on you must make it faster people.
