For anyone concerned with size, get into g shocks, come back,, and you'll learn to forget about dimensions.

I like that when you read model numbers you say each digit separately and not “three hundred and ten” or whatever. It makes it much easier to understand, especially for non native English speakers.

I got this recently and it is a serious watch. A Solid beast and weighty, top notch quality! I have a slim wrist (6.5") and its very comfortable to wear.

That's great to hear! I have a similarly sized wrist and wear the relatively large Hamilton Murph comfortably, which goes against what everyone else says.
@edteach3r3 жыл бұрын
@@JPG1600 Absolutely! Murph owner here too, and I just don’t get the concerns about the lug-to-lug. It disappears on the wrist, as all my Hammies do.
@dalamire3 жыл бұрын
My wrist is more oval than round, but it fits my 6.25" wrist fine, both visually and comfortably. Though I'm not sure it would work on a wrist any smaller than that. The downward taper of the lugs helps, as well as how the bracelet doesn't extend past that.

My Air Zermatt Limited edition sits nicely on my 6 .5 inch wrist. Its only 44mm across! And it is very comfortable to wear . It has presence! Love my 46mm Hamilton khaki pilot too!

Nice watch! I've got two modern Swiss made Hamilton Automatics and a gold Hamilton pocket watch that was my Great Grandfather's retirement gift when he left his position at the John Deere Plow Company in the 1920s, made in Lancaster, PA. I'm a fan of the brand, for sure. I just wish it was a little smaller.

I don't exactly know my wrist size but I would say I have roughly medium sized wrists and a Citizen Avion fits perfectly. But I love pilot watches, the look, the feel, the heft and status they bring as an engineer

Got a X Wind automatic chronograph, very robust and the most accurate auto I've ever owned ( & I've had a fair few since the late 1980s) Love Hamilton, excellent quality and value 👍🏻👍🏻 Edit - 7.25" wrist, wear it on a nato. Good fit but wouldnt want bigger.

X Wind Auto Chrono is a classic. It's the watch that started it all for me. I'm never getting rid of that one :)

The only thing stopping me is the almost 2 grand of disposable moolah. Lovely looking watch. Only thing I don't like is the screw down crown since they can break and not needed on a flight chrono it's not a dive watch. Can wear a gshock in the pool.

I just bought the plain old three-hander watch in this line (in a PVD black), which is available in 42mm, so it's wearable for me. It's pretty nice, but my old man eyes have a hard time reading the numbers on the bezel.
@Valks-223 жыл бұрын
Hey, I am looking at the same watch either PVD or SS but with some concernes about PVD. How is it holding up on your end? Think the PVD will hold up without excessive wear or damage with normal use?
@quarrel793 жыл бұрын
@@Valks-22 I haven't had the watch for that long; only since around December, but so far there is not a mark on it. I feel pretty confident that the coating will hold up with normal use. I think Hamilton is a brand I would trust to get something like this right.

I have owned this watch for around a month. It is one of my favorites in my collection, though it is priced far below the average. It just exudes quality. It is about 5 seconds fast per day. The chrono buttons are crisp, though I don't think that it features a column wheel. I don't know why it does not get more attention from reviewers. It is hefty, but that does not bother me. EDIT - the watch has to be returned for a warranty repair. The chronograph does not restart reliably. And when the chronograph fails to restart, the watch stops entirely. So I doubt that I will purchase an additional Hamilton in the future. I would rather pay a higher price and save myself time and aggravation.

The Hamilton specs say it’s 44mm. The thickness at 15mm is fine considering it’s a chronograph. Although, I wish they had made this in a 42mm case. The 3 Hand Converter Auto is 42mm, but the Converter GMT like the chrono is 44mm. I’m not sure why Hamilton opted for the wider case. It’s certainly something I may have considered at 42mm.

While I really like the idea of this sort of watch (and this one looks exceptionally well built), I've always found them a bit too cluttered. Especially now that I'm needing reading glasses and wouldn't be able to use any of the extra-functions anyway... :D Still: For the money, this looks like a pretty sweet deal. I love the little details like the small applied Hamilton H at the 3oc.

I think that Hamilton dropped the ball with this one. It is just too damn big. Nevertheless, a wonderful watch with an awesome movement inside...just maybe a bit pricier than I expected, because the similar X-Wind Auto Chrono with same movement could be had for some 500$ less.
