For a diver in the 1000 USD price point this watch is almost unbeatable. In the future I'd love to see this watch in Titanium.

Just got mine yesterday, purchased based on unboxing video. I love this watch. I have large wrists so I like the size. The strap is great.

But why did they put “khaki” on the bracelet for god sake! Would have been better without. Is the strap interchangeable?

This at 40mm case 46-47 lug to lug with 20 lugs and lower price and it will be one of the best dive watches out there.

I have the original batman Khaki Navy Scuba with the metal bracelet, bought the rubber strap so I could change up the look but found the rubber strap to be too stiff and ended up going back to the bracelet. This is one of my favorite watches compared to my similar Seiko and Citizen watches.

Watch looks nice, looks great no date, since it's the same company as eta, I'm sure it's a no date movement. Oddly wearing my white CW you reviewed earlier. Even reminds of my black CW and even Tissot Seastar (sister brand).

I love this watch. Much better than the Tissot divers - the Hamilton version of the Powermatic movement is invariably more accurate than the Tissot and Certina versions.
@panorama45263 жыл бұрын
That really doesn‘t say much. The dial of the Hamilton does not give you any orientation, and the hands have a strange shape. There are so many better divers out there...

a big difference between this and the previous edition; the lume on the pointer of the bezel. there is no lume on the older model

May be an unpopular opinion but I would love a date window. Though that'll mess w/ the symmetry. Also, 42mm would be a better "bigger" size IMO. Nice design though! Thanks for the review

Design wise and given the specs it can easily beat any Prospex in the same price range. That's true.

I wish Hamilton would revert back to a 28,800 bph movement. The extra power reserve is at the cost of a smoother sweep. I have two Hamilton watches and love them, but $995 for a diver with a rubber strap just seams a little steep.
@xpusostomos3 жыл бұрын
Are you really going to be looking at it thinking this second hand isn't smooth enough?
@darrellreddinger92403 жыл бұрын
I don't need the massive power reserve either. I never mind winding and setting the time when cycling through my collection. Hamilton doesn't charge anything extra for the steel bracelet on this model. When possible, I always purchase the factory bracelet. The rubber is my choice for water sports or diving. I usually buy both. ;)

I owned an Omega, Seamaster, 300M diver, 8800 caliber and now I own this Hamilton Khaki Navy Diver, with a blue bezel, Silver/white dial. The Omega has a ‘noisier’ ‘ticking’ sound when you put the watch to your ear, compared to ‘barely’ anything with the Hamilton. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t detect ‘any’ noise when I placed my ear to the Hamilton watch! So, the movement is pretty ‘smooth!’ The finish is a little more ‘elaborate’ on the Omega of course but I honestly really like this Hamilton watch! It’s ‘simpler’ and easier to appreciate! $995.00 versus $5200.00 Sure, you cannot compare and I will most likely buy the Omega again because I am partial to the Seamaster. Still, I love this Hamilton watch!

Lucian - I agree, there is a resemblance between this a a couple of Combat Sub models (or vice versa). I think the H is pretty classy though, and at a reasonable price for the specs. Glycine make way too many versions of their watches.

Arent all dive watches just copies of the king itself with minor tweaks here and there. Also, Hamilton Navy Khaki has been out for quite some time, they just added a ceramic bezel.

The issue I have with this diver is the indices at 12, 3, 6, 9 cover the minute track making it difficult to distinguish between 14, 15, 16 minutes easily. Other divers don't have this problem.

Nice! I’d feel more comfortable with a 42mm and this is nit picking but the font on the numerals should fit the rest of the styling on the watch. More retro and unique they look generic to me, they got lazy with the numbers ✌🏼🇺🇸
