Great review! I recently ordered one of these. My grandfather had an original Pulsar P4, which I still have. So it makes a nice bookend to my collection, and I love the retro styling!

I got the gold one and I absolutely love it. I wear it daily.. I thought it would be a little bit too bulky and heavy, but it's actually not heavy at all.

Another advantage of using the LCD / OLED hybrid display is a 5 year battery life. 1970 gold PVD limited edition PSR watches were made.

Thanks Bon for your support. I am also a member of the Hamilton Facebook group, great bunch with plenty of members that have lots of knowledge. If you were thinking about getting the PSR I would recommend it. Great retro futuristic styling and very comfortable on the wrist. The more you search about the history of this watch the more you will understand it’s horological importance

Cool piece. Always wanted a digital watch. Tried a few over the years, just do not keep time on me. I cannot wear a quartz. I get jealous of some of the Casio watches out there. Thanks for the review.

You are paying the 1000,-$ for the design and name. Oh wait, you dont even get the name anymore!! Why not just take your 1000,-$ and get a near mint real vintage pulsar? Or do what I did: I got me a vintage almost mint Elektronika 1 for 165,-$ on ebay from Ukraine. And that Russian watch is even cooler than the Pulsar. -AND have the time and date displayed the “right way”😂 btw, there is two models of the Elektronika 1, the Terminator and the Porthole.

Picked mine up for $500 and it is fantastic. The quality is tops and is very reliable. Vintage digital watches eat batteries the PSR battery lasts 5 years. If you want a digital watch thats casual get a G Shock, you can’t beat those.
