Hamilton Street Railway 2005 New Flyer D40LF 0520 on route 20 A-Line Express

Thank you for clicking on this video! Today we take a ride on Hamilton Street Railway's oldest unit 2005 New Flyer D40LF 0520. This is the first order (0401-0414, 0501-0520) of low floor diesel buses HSR has ordered from New Flyer. These units are powered by a Cummins ISL EPA 2004 280HP engine paired with a ZF 6HP592C 6 speed transmission. These units feature 35 American Seating Innovator 850 seating and ride on MAX axles.
This video was filmed on route 20 A-Line Express Southbound to Hamilton Airport starting at Upper James at Mohawk and ending at Mountain Transit Centre. Route 20 A-Line Express travels North and South using mostly Upper James Street to connect passengers from Hamilton Waterfront to Hamilton Airport.
