I think what I love most about your videos is not finding something new every time. I enjoy your self expression. I appreciate how you share your thoughts. Especially as a content creator, I think it can be really stressful to always strive to be one step ahead and always doing and creating something new, but I think for many of the people here who return to your videos again and again, we're actually drawn to the peace, repetition, and contemplation that can be found in your videos. I'm a college student myself, and even though I move from place to place and can't often truly settle in or make home cooked meals, I look forward to making a cup of tea and just watching the way you see the sunlight through your camera lens. Winter can make us all feel a little restless, tired, and maybe a bit sad. Spring will come and bring with it new growth, fresh breezes, and change. This is maybe why we make resolutions or goals in the winter: we are ready to leave things behind and to grow into new things, like seeds ready to grow towards the sun, breaking through the earth, fresh and green. Videos don’t always need to be about new things, new places, or new activities. There is something beautiful and calming about daily life lived well. Seconding some other comments here, you are one of my very favorite youtubers. It's not because you're constantly putting out "new" things. Sometimes I personally like seeing "old" things like older recipies or things you've already done in older videos, but at a different time. And it is a different time. Hami is getting older. Your environment is never quite the same. Please don't feel so much pressure. KZbin is about a community, and often I'm just watching your video to see how you and Hami are doing.

I thank you for your effort and the thought that you put into your videos. Over the past year I watch your videos to visit with you and have some quiet time. It is like catching up with a friend who without judgement encourages me. I find that routines are an anchor or a structure for our life. Routines are comforting, motivating, and mixes the past with what is and what will be. So friend, I will be happy to watch as the year unfolds. Do not worry about always having the newest content. I plan to be here next January and will gladly watch you take down your Christmas tree. All the best in 2023. I especially hope you have time to rest and not add pressure on yourself.

Ah yes, the dreaded New Year’s resolutions! I don’t make them anymore. It’s just setting myself up for failure 😅. I create new habits for myself during the year if that’s something I want to do. It’s more of a commitment when I recognize that I need to change something in order to stay healthy and happy. I had breast cancer last year and needed surgery and afterwards I changed a few things in my life and created new habits. It’s hard believe me. But persistence is key. Don’t stress over your videos. You do a wonderful job 😊. They are thoughtful, creative and informative. They’re full of love and inspiration as well. Sending positive thoughts and lots of love to you and your family.
