Seen these guys support Travis at the Ovo fair to say i am now a huge fan... Like a blend of Nick Cave/White lies

If Nick Cave wrote songs for Neil Hammond, and they let David Byrne produce it, then got The Editors as the backing band it might sound like this. It wouldn't be as good, but I doubt anything can match how good Hamish Hawk is at the moment.

Excellent! This, as others have commented, is superb. I plan on playing this very loud in my car, like Alan Partridge listening to Roachford.

Absolutely tremendous new album from Hamish. 3 years, 3 albums all of which are excellent. Can't recall a time in recent memory where that kind of creativity was so consistent.

Wonderful as always! Super excited for the new album. As a Scotsman living in Singapore I am eternally disappointed that I'm not easily able to see Hamish live. If you ever stop by, put on a show!

Here you go, Nancy Dearest Lyrics Who needs heaven? From my Ivory tower the view is crystal clear So I ask you, who needs heaven? @@grahammccready2647Haha, those are the lyrics I just transcribed to Genius. I wanted to fill in the gaps where the question marks are, because English is not my first language, so I was wondering if someone could make up what he says in those parts. Thank you so much anyway ❤

I kinda like how this album isn't going to be better than HE or AN... it feels playful and artists should not have to always, always one up themselves. I mean... trying to out do HE only a few years later? It's really good to hear detours and playfulness.
@flatpointhigh7 ай бұрын
Really? The way its shaping up I think it's going to be his best one yet. HE is masterful, but from what I read this album's theme seems to be much darker and deeper, both lyrically and musically. Of course, not everybody is into that. And I think HE and AN threaded similar sounds, so I for one welcome his more post-punkier side
