I'm South African. I've always liked Hamish Watson. His work rates immense. He will make his tackles. Runs hard. He will be there come ruck time. Everything you want from your loosies. He might not be no duane vermeulen but I don't think many are. He's still an incredible player You look at a guy like Billy V, carries alot of weight behind him, but look at the rwc final, he got absolutely smashed up by duane. Malcolm Marx also broke him once when they were in our try line. I thought he was very sub par that final. I think Billy V is unfit, overweight, he doesn't do that dirty gross grind that imo should be an absolute must form any loosie in today's game. I'd rather have a player like Hamish in my side Any day of the week over a big guy like Billy. You know what you're getting and the guys consistent, can rely on that consistency
