I been fishing those since I bought a 1/2 doz from Randall Kaufmann while I was living out in Oregon transitioning to helicopters some 34 years ago- When the helicopter was in the hanger for maintenance I would go hit the streams - I ran out of hare's ears nymphs, so I drove up to Kaufmann Streamborn and bought some and he told me this was the fly to fish at the time- Well done presentation! Kaufmann's is long gone now, its kind of sad it was a real candy store for a fly fisherman! I am much older now, but I still fish like I was when I was twenty 26!! Its an Addiction I tell you an Addiction!

You tie some great looking flies. I found your channel in 2016, and it's been my go - to for learning. In fact, when I am prepping for a fishing trip on my own channel, you can see that I am following your tutorials. Thank you for sharing.

Like how you anchored the lead wire, instead of wrapping between the lead you pulled thread across to back then wrapped over the thread. Never seen that , ingenious!

Kudos to the toddler focusing the camera. Stock in ibuprofen just went up.

It's a good one! Swapped out the turkey for thin skin so not true to original but durable and effective. Thanks for checking it out.
