I have a 2019 Ram 2500 with the Cummins and it makes all kinds of strange noises. Quite bizarre sometimes!! Lol. Of course if you read the owners manual it states that the truck will make all kinds of different noises both running and not running and not to worry about it. Things that make you go hmmm 🤔! I have the same noises for 1 and 2 the AC noise is a whistling sound and I figured it is from refrigerant equalization thru metering device.

My truck is the same as your first 2019. She whistles everytime I shut her off! I kinda dig it

For me.... #1 windows auto down stop with 1/4inch still to go down, if i press the button again it goes down all the way. #2 If I am doing 100km/h and set teh cruise, the cruise says "cruise set to 97km/h", does the same in MPH. #3 leave the keys in the console, open any door, then close "key fob not detected" press Ok, all is good. Dealer has no idea. I have 2 friends with REbels, none of this.

#2 - Mine does the exact same thing when it's cold. Sometimes I lean forward in my seat because I give it throttle and expect the truck to accelerate, but it hesitates. It's annoying, but I'm concerned about the long term affects. I also get a hard downshift when I let off the throttle at low speed (20 mph). I don't have anything aftermarket except the tires are not stock. Slightly smaller.

Yes mine does the exact same 2 things u mentioned the 3rd thing, never heard it. Actually for the AC sound after i cut off the engine, i took it to the dealer and they told me that they have to replace one part. And when they did, the sound disappear for 4 months, now i started to hear it again. Also for the hickup thing, i have same thing specially in a cold start, never done anything about it b3cause it was not bothering me that much. By the way, my Ram is 2019 Laramie Sport.

LOve your truck if I was to get one it would be one like yours. Love it. My jeep don't do anything as far as with a keyfob. I have manual locks and have to roll the windows up manually. But it's fun

1-no, 2-no, 3-maybe, I hear an air gap sound but only from the rear while moving, its related to a rubber strip under the bed. Some trucks have this strip, some don't, but if you don't have it, you can sometimes hear wind roar at speed from behind the rear seats. I plan on buying the strip and installing it myself, similar to the rubber strips between the rear of the cab where it meets the front of the bed.

Maybe look into the shrink wrap material they use to wrap boats for that area. Cut it just oversized and heat shrink it to fit the contour.

My 19 Laramie does the a/c whine too. I’ve narrowed it to when humidity being above 50-60% and the A/C has been running for more than 5 minutes.

I took mine in for the hissing sound it's the electronic brake booster some are just louder than others apparently. Mine also hiccups on cold start but I have mine Diablo tuned and it only does it if I don't clear the uconnect error codes out after programming. after I do that it doesn't hiccup anymore

Keep an eye on that ac. We drive to Phoenix from Seattle in august and compressor died on truck with only 20k miles on it. Dealer in Arizona was awesome and fixed in 4 hrs, but it did die.

One noise is a periodic opening of what seems to be a damper allowing fresh air in. Another separate noise is a hissing only when the recirc function is engaged, regardless of whether the AC is on or off. Possibly a damper leak I'd imagine. Thoughts anyone?

Mine makes the same sound when you turn the truck off. It sounds like someone is slowly letting air out of a balloon. I took tot he dealer and of course they couldn't replicate but it happens almost every time I turn it off.

My 19 rebel with v6 has the 8 speed. It seems to shudder or jump/slip with on 7th or 8th on the highway at lower speeds. I feel it doesn't downshift to appropriate gear like it should. I don't like the feeling that it makes when it shudders. Only 30k on it. Had it a week and a half. White ram rebel v6

So only the front windows are "auto up/down". anti-pinch is required for the windows to auto up, since the rear windows do not have auto up/down, they will not open with your keyfob!

My 20 Rebel used to do the whistling thing and stopped....no idea why. Mine makes a loud thump when i start if my foot is still on the brake. My idol in drive goes up n down when I first pull outta my garage even while holding the brake

Steve, had a question for you. Looking for a 20-25” LED light bar to go behind the lower front grill and 2 LED lights to go below the rear bumper facing backwards for driving in reverse. There are sooooo many different options on Amazon. Some 3 row, some 2 row, some single row LEDs. How bright is the Rough Country 20” bar ($199) you installed on your Rebel?? Can’t find how many lumens it has. Had a 2016 Ram 1500 with a 60” LED light bar above the windshield. It was ok at lighting up the road/path directly in from of the truck but sucked at anything beyond a car length out. Now want a more conservative/discrete smaller light bar that is brighter and has more throw/distance than my old one. Thanks for any help!

My USB ports stop working when it gets above 110 outside (live in AZ) I also get a weird buzzing whistle sound when cruising above 70 mph and there is a cross wind. I can’t pinpoint it but I am thinking it’s coming from the skid plate. My final issue I have had with my 2019 Rebel is shifting into 4wd, it just keeps saying service 4wd system.

That Bearded Veteran hmm the only issue I have had like that was on my 2014 Cummins it would say service 4wd when going from 4 low to 2wd even though I was in neutral, I restart the truck and there is no error anymore

Yes my ram rebel is a 2019 a it does that more when its starting to get cold. But not in the summers when its warm out when starting the truck. And my is fully stock please if you find out what's wrong or why it makes that hecup when starting can let me know.

when i auto start my 22 ram lonestar, i go out in about 10 mins, and if i dont immediately get in, my truck will shut off. it did it when it was freezing and i walked around front end to get snow/ice off windshield. anyone know about this?

That noise is likely the active grille shutters or air Ram. Not many folks know about the features. It calibrates and cycles sometimes when you shut the truck down. There is a STAR report about issues with them making noises. The dealer replaced mine and the noises went away

Hey guys I have a 19 ram 5.7 hemi about 31k miles. Sometimes it has a humming sound. From the exhaust but the RPM jumps while doing that sound. Anyone run into this. Problem .

i just put new rims and tires on my 19' ram. and its rubbibng in the same spot.. diving me nuts... i have a 3" leveling kit in the front and 2" in the rear.. i got 20x10 xd rims wrapped in 35" mud tires.. i might have to go to a 4 or 6 in lift.. what do you think? or do you think some spacers will do the trick... btw i love this channel.. you do alot of cool shit to your truck that i want to do but cant afford lol..i also installed the pulsar pcm and it is a must have on a RAM.. if anyone out there can offer any advice on the rubbing issue that would be great.. like i said before its rubbing in the same exact spot.. i already trimmed the front side where it was rubbing the plastic. Any one have thoughts on the vararam air grabber intake? and a good exhaust cat back on a budget.

On my 2020 RAM 1500 new body Laramie, the gas pedal has about 1/2" side to side play. I think there has to be some play for the adjustable pedal feature. Don't notice it with my foot (get out of non running truck and move it by hand) and no abnormal play in the front to back actuation. Is this normal?

Mine had the burble/stumble on cold starts when is sat for 8 plus hours, outside ambient temperatures did not seem to make a difference. I have been getting fuel at a different gas station (better quality) and it has made a world of difference with the cold starts. Had the same issue on my 2015 ram with gas from an ExxonMobil station... went to shell and it went away

@@mekaleka22 I was using Kum & Go 91 when I was having issues. Switched to Shell 91. Took a couple tanks before it went away. I might try Conoco or Sinclair to see if it comes back as both are a little cheaper than Shell.

Rick Capsaholic I agree. I told the mechanic it literally just happened when I dropped it off. The mechanic told me the hissing sound isn’t a normal sound but he can’t replicate. So I guess I’ll have to try a third time. My truck jerks too and they marked it as normal.
