Test drove a Ram and couldn’t believe how nice it was. I had a 2017 LTZ Z71 with a 6.2 and after the test drive I was torn on the two. The Ram was easily the nicest and smoothest truck I’ve been in but man the GM 6.2 is a dam beast. Pulled the trigger on a 2019 Chevy LTZ Z71 6.2 again. They are sure making it hard to pick these days.

I did the exact same thing, traded my Chevy for my Rebel... well worth it... Rebel is about 200 X’s more exciting then the Chevy... not sure yet but I do feel the Chevy quality may be a bit better though... only time will tell

Watch that back license plate cover. I had the same one from autozone. The black frame piece was actually scuffing my tailgate when it was lowered, not much clearance back there. I removed the frame and kept the tinted cover. Looks just as good without the frame.

The USB in rear on the left connects to the radio (AppleCarPlay, Android Auto), connection #3. The right one in rear is charge only.

I have done some of the mods you did. I have the Borla ATAK...It's LOUD!! Two questions that I couldn't find on your videos - 1) did you tint the 3rd brake light 2) what lights did you use for the 3rd brake light? I ask the 2nd question cause my TPMS error message I'm getting in my truck could be related to the cheap lights I put in. Something crazy with the RF Signal. Thanks for the videos. Keep it up!!

Question what do you think of pulsar or upgrade to more performance ported throttle body 87mm they are both price the same. I kinda maybe have a problem so I think dealership said everything good. My previous 2019 Ram 1500 5.7 with OFR 4x4 3.21 seemed quick better throttle response then my current 2019 Ram 1500 limited 4x4 5.7 The only difference in the two trucks limited has a 3.92One thing I notice Space was my fuel economy the Laramie was getting me 16 and the city 19 on the highway limited is getting me 14 in the city and maybe 16.8 also to know Unlimited has the OEM 22 inch wheels the Laramie and the OEM 20

AtlasRam hmmm if you are looking for throttle response I recommend the JMS pedal max it really cuts out the lag but the pulsar will tune you Ecu so depends what you want they can be used together as well

Steve like you said it's your truck your build. Do it YOUR way. Screw em if they don't like your mods!! I'm glad you got the REBEL!! Enjoying the vids on it. Giving me ideas for when I get mine. But torn between the LARAMIE and the REBEL. If you didn't have to get the 3.92 rearend I'd be all REBEL.

Lance thank you for watching my old Laramie had the 3:92 gears and was a nice truck for sure but the front end chipped like crazy the Rebel doesn’t and the Rebel suspension is much better it really depends on what you want at the end of the day

Steve thanks for responding!! You say the Rebel suspension is better. Do you think it's because of the tires? I don't remember if the black Laramie had the air suspension. The chipping did suck. I know it was a frustration for you having a new truck and having to fix paint chips would bother me too. The coating on the Rebel bumper would be lots better. But for $60,000 I gotta have cooled seats. Espescilly living in the hot south with black leather. It's crazy Ram doesnt include them on the Rebel 12, IMO.

@@lance_r72 cooled seats are really nice I agree but the air suspension replaces the springs but the shocks on the Rebel are Bilstein and work really nice on rougher roads and the tires help with that too

Steve, are you noticing a difference in gas mileage? I'm guessing that the Laramie was a little better. Since you have had both, you are a good one to ask. Well before you got that amazing sounding exhaust. That does sound wicked in the videos. Can't watch your vids with headphones. Lol. TFL has a Rebel, and they said the mpg did improve as the truck broke in. But they modified theirs with bigger tires, MOPAR exhaust and cold air box, so its hard to tell how much it improved as a stock truck. I'd love to put a Borla exhaust on but I couldnt keep my foot out of it to hear that glorious sound.

@@lance_r72 I love to lay into the throttle with the Borla so fun but the fuel economy on the Rebel is very comparable to the Laramie when I got rid of the laramie it was doing 16mpg and the Rebel is at 13.5 mpg at only 1200 miles so lots of room for it to get better as it breaks in. Cheap mods. Borla ATAK exhaust is a little over $1300, or at least it was for MY 2019 Ram Rebel, but I wouldn't exactly call $1300 cheap lol.

Dude! why are you insulating your building interior walls with the cancer-causing pink fiberglass junk? Man buy yourself P-2000 spray foamed or sheet form that has been triple expanded and waterproof too. one inch will equal 10 inches of fiberglass crap and look much neater & cleaner. If you get the sheets one side is reflective for the outside & the inside is white & can be pressure washed making clean-up fast and no painting needed.
