The rant you go on here about dealer techs is fairly accurate. It sucks on the customer end. The dealer I work for will help the tech out with paying additional internal time on a concern that needs to be driven and inspected further than what warranty time pays, that way we don’t loose our butts on it.

Hammer, loved the video! I'm about to buy my first full-size truck and I'm leaning to the RAM for one simple reason. Only RAM gives you as many bells and whistles with a bench front seat! I wish the Rebel had a bench option in the front it doesn't....grrrr. Come on big three...there's a market for it...bring them. I may just have to make my Laramie look like a Rebel. Now for my question...some RAM guys have been complaining about vibration coming at speeds over 60mph...Vibration thru the steering wheel. They're having a tough time identifying exactly what it is (wheel balance, drive shaft, etc). Have you had any issues? Thank you!

What's your opinion on the rebel with air suspension vs regular? Would you buy with or without? Long term do you feel air suspension would cost more to repair or be more prone to having issues?

Sami Makkawi for me it was an expensive option and there are few of any lifts for the air suspension and for towing it would be nice but I can put airbags in the back for 500 not the 1400 for the air suspension and I’ve heard in cold weather they have had issues

I have owned a 2019 Limited for one year now and have 17000 miles on it. Mine started with a clunking noise at about 2200 miles when you go over harsh bumps or small pot holes especially at slower speeds (15-35 mph). It seems to be worse when the weather is cold and sounds like it is in the rear of the truck. I have had it back to the dealer at least four times for this issue but they always say that they can not duplicate the noise, therefore nothing is done to repair it. I love this truck but the clunking noise drives me crazy. Any help or comments would be appreciated??

Hey steve, the intel from ford is the 7.3 won’t make it to the raptor because it would be a step down performance wise and with the raptor being the flagship that won’t pass the checklist. The one engine that’s real close to getting the go ahead from bean counters is the Shelby gt500 engine. It would be a one year raptor send off for this generation. Ford started these discussions once it was confirmed rams TRX 700Hp truck was coming in a hurry

You know the f150 also has the 5.0 V8 395hp and plenty of performance mods for it I've even seen a supercharger upgrade for the coyote bringing the horsepower up to 755hp but yeah that RAM is the better looking truck next would be the Silverado looks like something out of the Terminator love that trail boss in North sky blue I wouldn't even look at the raptor it's way too expensive for a pickup truck I'd just go with the 5.0 and upgrade it over a couple years time

For about 15k less then the rebel you can get a warlock spent 3000 more and put 37" tires 18" rims next leveling kit and it's as close as you can get to a rebel on a budget

Oh yeah....you did a video on how the Rebel works in the snow..What?....no front LSD/Locker on the Rebel?....funny cause my 18' Raptor has a Torsen unit up front...and some of that money you saved going with the Rebel might go towards getting a set of 35" tires... All kidding aside I think the Rebel has a great looking interior (still hate the shift puck) ,the V8 sounds awesome...and is a good looking truck!...Ram has a factory a Beadlock capable wheel (just like the Raptor) so why don't they offer that wheel with a set of 35" tires...quickest way to make the Rebel look even better would be 35" tires...Enjoyed your video, thank you.

i get that you want your truck fixed and i have a bighorn with the same noise but somtimes i wish the manufacturer was held more accountable. the manufactuer wont pay the dealer to have techs spend adequete time to diagnose your truck but who is the one who is held acountable? You are gonna smash the dealer with negative reviews as a result which directly affects the service writers and techs pay through csi scores. I think the whole system is broken and I think the manufacturer is mainly to blame because they are at the top. Sidenote I checked my body mounts on the front 3 right side ones and all were tight, I checked the tie rods, ball joints and sway bar end links for tightness and the rf link to sway bar nut i got one turn out of, it wasnt loose exactly but i have not heard the noise since.

V8 is obvious advantage. The interior in general, not just the 12" screen, is FAR superior to the Raptor. And yeah, daily driving, Rebel wins. Of course if you are actually using the Raptor for what it is capable of, the Rebel can't compete without 10-15k in mods and then you are at Raptor pricing anyway. So end of the day all comes down to how you use the truck. For 95% of guys who just want an off road capable truck that looks more aggressive than your standard trims, the Rebel is gonna be the pick. On the other hand... plenty of dudes who only need that (or not even) will gladly pay 15k more just to have the Raptor and its badass looks. To each their own! I hate people that judge others for what they want or like. Everyone get what you want and if you can afford it, great!

Ford raptor is better than dodge rebel because it has: 1. Faster 0 - 60 times. 2 unique body style. 3 better steering wheel . 4 built in USA. 5 can take way more abuse than ram. That's my 5 reasons why I did not buy a rebel. I am not prejudice against dodge, but they need to get better at preformance to compete with Ford's off road king! 🤔
