Keeping the Window Control in the middle is definitely important. When you put window controls on the door they are 90% more likely to have electronic problems from them getting wet.

The side straps holds the rear seats in place and keep them from bouncing around.

10:13 So I saw a video for this and there is a tether attached on one of the sides of the rear seat and it restrains the seat. Check all around the area but look at it by standing with the front doors open looking at the rear seat. I saw this video yesterday there is a small tether dangling and you grab it and clip it to this piece. You'll see it if you look around in there. I just saw the video so good luck!

Thank you very much for your detailed review, likes and dislikes. This was the best I watched so far, and I watched quite a few. I agree with all your points, except the windows. I like them where they are b/c I can open/close the passenger window with ease.

So for your key rant. I totally agree. But I solved that problem. Open the key. Get a paper napkin. Fold it three layers thick. Then put it over the open crack at the furthest end from the button. Close the key. Test it by pushing the button. The blade shouldn't pop out. If it works now you can just rip the rest of the paper and the problem is solved. Mine has been great for almst a year. And you can still open it if you need it.

I agree. I love my 2 door Wrangler Willys. The one thing I dislike is the steering wheel. The stitching sticks out and threads are rough to the touch. It's just uncomfortable when your fingers rub over them. The second thing I dislike is there is no gas cover. It should come standard or give it as a option. It's the first thing I install when I got my Jeep. The 3rd and final dislike is there is no hood lock. I know it's traditional but offer us an option to have a factory install hood lock. Because Jeeps are so popular these days, they are target of car theft as well. Having that extra security is a bonus.

Love this jeep. Looking forward to getting one. Awesome video! Interestingly, I have family that live in Newtown, PA. And these look like the back roads. If I'm correct, then it is definitely a beautiful ride and great scenery! Stay safe out there. Thank you again.

Ended up buying 2023 Willys Sport with 2L turbo. Have you considered replacing the light bulbs in your headlights to LED? First thing I'm gonna do once I get mine delivered.

I myself was thinking of a Bronco as my current lease goes back, but I have been recently leaning more towards the Wrangler as well. The two trims I am looking at are a 22 Unlimited Willys and a 22 Rubicon 2 door (both with pretty much the same package and add-ons: hard top, sound deadening, cold weather, safety and tech packages). The MSRP based on the Jeep site ($2k difference give or take). I am leaning more towards the Willys as I feel the Rubicon is out of my price range once I factor in the insurance cost of it.

Bro there is a strap on the front of the back seats with velcro to tie around metal hoops on the side to keep back seat from wobbling back and forth when back seat is rolled up. Check it out. One strap on each side of back seat.

With the key you can lock the glove box and console when doors are off.

You're so right about the door window switches! They should totally be on the door because DUH if the doors are off then the windows are off with them! xD Lmao I never thought of this 💯🤣

Currently own a V6 rubicon. Thinking about a 2.0. I appreciate your Jeep videos. Q. Does the 2.0 have an oil dipstick? Seem like dipsticks are starting to be deleted on new cars which infind quite stupid. Thanks.

Hey! question for ya -- If the majority of people DON'T offroad their wranglers and even the new bronco, y don't companies just make an SUV where you can take the roof off/doors off and skip the offroad gear? It would certainly reduce the price of the vehicle and there'd be WAY fewer components to worry about. Thanks!!!;)
@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA2 жыл бұрын
Always the base model comes in cheaper less off road stuff too comes off
@walden6272 Жыл бұрын
I don't offroad really but I always wanted a Jeep because of its off road capability. It's that peace of mind knowing if you get caught in a snow storm which has happen to me plenty of times up north in Idaho, you can get through it instead of getting stuck for days waiting for the snow to melt. So the off road gear is the most important reason to own a Jeep. Most people don't want to take off the roof, or else convertibles would be popular but they are not popular. I rarely see a Jeep running around town with their top off. Only time I see them do that is when they go off road.
