About World's Deadliest:
World’s Deadliest Predators is a new series that looks at most riveting moments of animal predation, breaking down the struggle for survival and supremacy into five action-packed episodes. Top Hunters focuses on the most feared animals in their class: animals at the top of their food chain; the hunters who are prey to no other animal. Killer Packs illustrates when predators multiply their advantage over prey by banding with others of their species to hunt. Lethal Weapons shows that the physical attributes and built-in concealed weapons have the ability to make an animal a top predator. Our Superpowers episode focuses on the animals that see, hear, and smell better than any others…and that relative to their size on are the fastest and strongest creatures on the planet. And whether it is over food, territory or sex, animals go to war within their species and against other species…Battles dissects these conflicts, from the strategy to the play-by-play. These five episodes bring together dozens of species, which are extraordinary, savage, and the World’s Deadliest Predators.

About 25 years ago I had the privilege of diving in a school, or is it shoal of these magnificent animals. Hammerheads (HH) of varying sizes at roughly 20metres depth as far as the eye could see, just slowly going with the current, so I (in hindsight foolishly) joined them for a few minutes; surrounded by dozens and more giving me such a buzz! They gave me the "once over" but never an aggressive move! If however I encountered a lone HH, that's a different ball game as many were 14 ft+ and very aggressive! Have a nice day and to all those addicted to "Compressed Air", keep on "bubbling"!

Jerry Qin the white shark is just feared because of discovery channel and shark week they are giving them bad rep just cause that's what they think people want to see they are over dramatic with the detail shark attacks are rare but most attacks aren't from white sharks. It is bull sharks tiger sharks and oceanic white tips that attack people more and still don't attack very often

The truth about the hammer heads shape is that the hammer has a lot of sensitive nerves to feel the energy of animals under them for there hunting sting rays they have poor vision but really good sense of smell and there head works like a big metal detector that looks for the energy of hidden animals in the sand

I thought the head was used to detect sea creatures under the sand or in coral at the bottom of the ocean by way of detecting the electric impulses of the animal using it's ampullae of Lorenzini. Thats the primary use of the wide hammer head, its more of a metal detector head. They didn't even mention it..

Overall, the facts stated are relatively accurate even though it's 10 years old. The only thing I don't like is how they keep cutting to a different species of Hammerhead. Most of the footage here shows Scalloped Hammerheads (Sphyrna lewini) and Great Hammerheads (Sphyrna mokarran) with 1 scene showing what appears to be a Bonnethead Shark (Sphyrna tiburo). Furthermore, I feel like this should be a "World's Weirdest" and not a "World's Deadliest" since the Hammerheads (Sphyrinidae) are only involved in a couple attacks on people. Here's my opinion. Accuracy: 8/10 Footage Choice: 3/10 Representation: 9/10 Use of Drama and Themes: 10/10 Overall: 7.5/10. A good video, without the usual drama that happens in most other videos or documentaries.
