That hammer was about 12ft and was 30 yards away from the surfers that day maybe 80 yards from the sand bar a 6ft hammer was caught like 30 minutes later

He uses a 8/0 for hardtails and ladyfish.

@@rolltide9547 Sad that your statement isn't far from what people actually do. Caught a nice oversized snook with 12 lb mono mainline then look to my left seeing someone else use a 4/0 senator with 40 lb mono for the same thing.

S DP thank you for your support. Because he caught a Hammerhead ( you can not lift it out of the water ) he cut the line as close to the leader as possible. Hook should rust out in less than a week.

not sure if you're being intentionally misleading or just dont have a clue. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5u4eIN8gplsgJo 4 hooks in salt water still complete after 4 mths and the hook in the hammerhead will be way bigger and have 20yds of strong line attached,simply shudnt be fishing for them. ships from 2nd world war are still complete on the sea bed 80yrs later.
