Dancing and shows were Great entertainment and part of British culture like pubs are lost forever. Please bring back the dance halls.

Brings back memories, as I used to go regularly. I even remember disco workhsops there. A pity that kinid of thing has gone, so much better than on a computer!

Thank you so much for loading this superb film....What a terrible loss, along with The Astoria, Tottenham Ballroom all gone & The Streatham Locarno, hanging by a thread, all demolished within the past five years.

In the 60s and 70s Ken Mackintosh and his Orchestra used to be based at the Hammersmith Palais, and I was one of the regulars there. Lovely memories now . . .

Brings back memories me and my friend Donna would go every night including wed ballroom night you had to be over 27 we was 17 but we still got in back in the late 70s

Ah yes, the good old "Grab a granny" night at the Palais. There was an old saying about this place, "If you're not in bed by 10 pm you might as well go home"!

How elegant it was when people used to wash and put clean clothes on.
