My mind is still blown that you have Douglas Fir and or pine trees in Australia! Must be on the there most southern point. Great video my friend 🤠

Glad you enjoyed the video :) Australia has many pine forests like this, however they are unfortunately man made. They let them grow for a few decades and then wipe out enormous sections of them, leaving behind a wasteland of stumps. Many people dislike pine forests here, for both aesthetic and ecological reasons. I’ve always loved pine forests, so these places are the only way I get to enjoy them without going to another country. Australia does have some native pines, though I believe they’re quite uncommon, and not as impressive in my opinion. You can see what they look like if you search for callitris forest :)
