Top of loch doon ,great stretch of Carrick lane to fish ,the area is like my back garden ,good video enjoyed it,the trout I'm this particular area are known as the fastest trout in scotland ,or as us locals say anyway ,what time of year was it ? As usually the dreaded midges are terrible here

Area is lovely ,especially for wild camping and fishing ,some smashing wee hill lochs aswell .you timed it to perfection if it was beginning of may,couple weeks later and the midges would have been out in force lol

hi mate, you can fish in quite a few places in Scotland but some area private. Need to check area to area. Most require a rod license which you can get online. Others are privately owned and you need may need permits which can be cheap or super expensive like the river spey to fish for salmon can be £300+ a day!
