I never knew winter camping by choice was a thing until about 20yrs ago.... I camped in ski resorts as a youth, to get cheap ski holidays... but i've never just wandered off into the local winter landscape to camp... amazing!

With your example, fishing trips with my buddy's have turned into evening beer sampler's. we've got some great craft beers in Oregon and its fun to pour 1 12 or 16 oz brew into 4 cups and banter and bullshit. What's better than drinking with a purpose?
