Here is a fun video from our recent journey to the north end of Algonquin Park. It was my dads first time visiting and I don't think things could have gone better. We had a beautiful spot to ourselves(and the spring peepers), some great food, and left with great memories. The cherry on top of it all was the brook trout that we caught and cooked up which was a first for the three of us. To help us digest all the greatness, one needs a good sleep. So I tried to run down a few tips and tricks that might assist you on your next hammock experience. Let me know what you think of the video and if there's anything I might have missed. Thanks for watching!

What a beautiful getaway!! Algonquin is the cleanest park I’ve seen; dense and super-varied forests with lots of silence! Awesome video Ev, thanks for sharing this memory.

Amazing trip!! Loved the video especially the close ups of cooking over the fire. You got a nice selection of flies but the good ol' woolly bugger or kreelex always seems to get the job done eh (I carry a hundred flies out there and always end up using the same 3 😂)

Great video! Just wanted to say the fish you caught is a Splake. Brook Trout have “square” tails & yours has a very distinct “V” tail which Splake have. Good luck fishing 🎣!!

It was a brrok trout. It was just the angle of the camera that made it appear that way. There are no splake in algonquin rivers

Brent! Be careful paddling cedar though it’s a really dangerous lake to be paddling in the spring. Make sure you’re able to self rescue out on the water and keep some dry clothes handy, it’s a big crossing.
English or Spanish 🤣
