Hammock camping with tarp

That should work but others wrap the tarp in a figure 8 around the stick. And I’ve seen others use a marlinspike hitch. Not sure if that’s easy to undo. I haven’t abused my poncho or basha as hammocks yet. But I’m planning to… someday.

Worked great! No trouble at all. It’s best to watch the toggles while first sitting on it to see if they move at all because they shift a little. I’ve done it about 10 times so far and no failure and barely needed to adjust anything.
