I have slept in a hammock for a number of years now. I never think I know what is the best way to hang one. It is always good to have options. Thanks, Dave, for another option.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate your time and knowledge in this video. I like your hammock and the bag. I could not see the name of the hammock. I do most of my over night trips in a hammock. and when possible I sleep in a hammock almost every night when I have a day off of work. If you would, could you let me know the brand of your hammock. Thanks.

Awesome! I've been using a hammock for a while now and the ridgeline is a must in my opinion. You make everything look easy though.

Can’t use this on my current setup (Blackbird XLC) due to the buckles on the straps, but I thank you because the takeaway for me was tensioning that ridge line. Probably common sense to many, but I’d never thought of it that way and your quick tip drove it home for me. Always grateful, thanks man!

Great tip Dave. Very simple to do and beats having to invest in buckle straps or whoopie slings. Keeping it simple and keeping it real. Thanks!

Thanks for the video, trying to learn about hammock setup, etc... But from all videos and things I read, even a hammock with a ridge line people said you don't what ridgeline to be super tight but tight enough that you can somewhat bend with your own weight in the hammock. Also, in this video... no such thing as that 30' angle suspension hang? Again, I do understand because you have a ridgeline but most people do and they still hang with suspension angle. I am more confused now.

Can a static ridge line be added to any hammock? How does one go about doing that? Love your videos and hope all is going well for y’all.

Is the ridgeline inside the hammock something that came with the hammock or something you added? Paracord or something else?

Dave great video, I am a new hammock person. Trying to get my gear in order and wanted to know what is the best or easiest way to find the length of the ridge line you suggested for my hammock? Do you go with your feet higher than your head as I have read?

Hey Dave, my eno doesnt have the included ridgeline. Is that something you put on your hammock?
