I can’t feel you There’s no trace Lights will burn out Blood to clay Falling, drifting Slips away We will never Be the same Then the quiet Moment came Raised to life Then passed away We will never Be the same Lights will burn out Blood to clay

My mom had pancreas cancer, knowing it would catch up with her she attempted suicide minutes after my dad left home for work. She died in the ambulance. I always wondered what life would be if I had my mom, how much happier my dad would be. He took care of me and I grew up taking care of him. I’ve never met someone that can relate. I’ve lived so long in solitude. Never being able to say something like this to anyone without anonymity out of fear of disassociation. I come back to songs from Hammock like this looking for something that I’ve never had a chance to feel. Every time I listen to their songs there's a pit that forms in my chest.

Remember that your mom was in pain before taking that step. Up there in heaven, there is no pain. She is feeling way better now. Pray for her and pray to god that one day you could all meet her in heaven, and remember we all die. We could literally die any second, so just hang on there, we will be meeting everyone up there soon. Just reach out to god, talk to him and ask him for forgiveness, be a good man, don’t sin incase one day you get the chance to finally meet your mom up there. Always make sure to be a man with good intentions, there are alot of stories about people who prayed and everything but went straight to heaven just because of their good hearts. Wait for your time, i am also doing my best to be a good person, i have my little sister waiting for me there too. If you don’t believe you can be good, guide others, help people and god will always help you. Donate or anything, i heard acts of kindness help the sins fade away. Trust me, it works. Focus on pleasing god and god will always please you back. Focus on the signs you get in this life.

Today, I was walking home in the rain and was listening to this and I couldn't get over how beautiful this band is and how insane I would go if I couldn't listen to them anymore. I looked up at the sky and smiled, feeling so alive and lucky to have found Hammock. I'm a very passionate person -always have been. Hammock to me is full of passion and splendor and I just can't picture my life without them. Hammock is the one band where I could easily fall in love with ANY of their songs. I can't tell you how many people I have showed this band to. And every time, they give me the same response "I'm glad I heard this band". Hammock has the power to change someone's perspective or make them thankful for their life...I don't know. If I could recommend any song of theirs, it would be this one.

Hammock's music is very special to me. I never could properly put into words the answer to why I like it so much, but I believe that my attempts are getting better. For me, it's music that seems to slow down time, making me appreciate life with an almost unbearable intensity. When I listen to Hammock, I feel love even when thinking about the most insignificant experience that I had. It magnifies everything, making memories or the present moment so full of meaning. For years I wondered why. "What is it about this music? Why do I feel so emotional when listening to it? And what are these emotions?". I believe that Hammock's music increases my awareness of our limited existence - the fact that all that we know and love will one day, cease to exist. It's a sadness that is present in every moment of my life, and when it gets increased, makes me see beauty even in the most trivial things. Extreme beauty that can only be sensed on top of a deeply sad foundation. Sometimes I struggle with the fact, that all of this is not forever. But I guess is that fact, that is responsible for making us feel love and have the need to express it - it's what makes us human.

What really gave me the chills alongside this song is how people here shared their feelings, thoughts, and stories. I am truely happy just reading those comments while listening. God knows how much i cried while reading them but i’m still happy and proud of everyone here. I hope everything works out for you all. I will make sure to mention you all in my prayers. To those who came here to cry, or the ones who lost someone, i am very sorry and i hope god protects you always and eases everything for you. God is merciful, don’t worry, he will listen to you whenever you reach out, just talk your heart out to him.

Trust Christ. He died to turn your “if” to a “when.” “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” John 3:16-18 and “9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

This song gives me so many emotions. It makes me feel incredibly nostalgic for my childhood and youth, it makes me want to disconnect myself from society and explore nature, and other towns that I don't even know the name of. It makes me feel like I am sleeping during the rain with my lover beside me, or that I am reaching the end of my life and I know that I will die soon. It's an incredibly beautiful song. I know the whole "play this at my funeral" is a bit of a joke but seriously... play this at my funeral.

This sparks at least some level of hope in me. At my present age of 39 years on this planet by now, I've lost most of everything that ever made sense to me. Family, opportunities, my closest friends and most importantly, so much time. It's not like "everything was better when I was younger" or that my own youth and childhood was really that simple, but even at my worst when I was younger, my life still made sense. I had much more time, hopes and dreams, goals and ambitions, I had an actual direction in life, and lived in the idealized illusion of, if working hard and long enough, I'd achieve whatever I want. But life comes with no guarantees, that's for sure. Life is full of injustice, and life is dynamic. So grab it by the balls, or p*ssy if you will, and don't waste a single second. Time is such a valuable currency, if not THE most, and it's true... You don't know what you got until you lost it. So never take time or chances for granted. But anyhow, the tunes of this masterpiece gives me hope anew, even if only for a short period of time, then I'm still grateful for that

I felt , this is that ,through music.. the waves of her leaving and all the emotions. This song felt like all of it. I was in tears, riding through it. Then I read the title and the lyrics, and couldn't believe it. The lyrics were exactly what I was experiencing, and feeling and felt the song was . So hard to explain... it's everything in those last moments expressed

Seeing a lot of comments of people saying their close to the edge and can't hadle "living" anymore. I know life can be horrible, and I wish suffering that does not beget strength didn't exist, but that's not all life has to offer. If your life is unhappy enough you don't want to be apart of it then it's time to truly free yourself, leave whatever your doing that's making you this way. If your loved ones truly care about you they'll let you go and pursue happiness. This world has infinite philosophical depth, and this song is proof that beauty exists in this world as well. It's up to you to find it though
