Great Video. I have a T-200 in my living room Mom and Dad got me in 1968 while I was in HS. It was in storage awhile back. Just recently oiled the cups with Hammond Oil. Nice to know it will not go out of tune. BTW, I'm 71!

How do you repair a tone generator clutch?

Had my '57' B3 generator cleaned. Used cleaner spray to clean dust and oil from small springs. Did the trick as the organ sounds fantastic now.

You can get really nice reproduction Hammond logos if you want! Just make a search online and you will find organ parts shop selling the old smaller logo and the larger Hammond logo with the medal that was made between 1969-1975 ! Good luck !

There's power to it, but not turning on and I accidentally killed the indicator light on the on switch, I'm very inexperienced using my multimeter tool.

My tone generator very noisy. Noise stop after oiling but return. Can I oil it again.

I’m not an expert but mine was so seized up that it took Sime heavy oiling to get up and running again. That being said. Check with an expert first!

I did. Had schematics for every piece of gear. The B-3 seldom had any hassles. The Leslie 122 had a 6550 tube fail once; that’s about it. And the treble driver on the 122. Love those days and that gear.

Neil Diamond was in 1977, four days on Tour in Netherland.there were problems with the Hammond organ (110 Volt America-Europe 220 Volt) I'm approached by Lou van Rees Management for a solution to my Hammond Rent.After four days I got my B3 Hammond returned with Fire spots of Cigarettes.It frustrated me.They have me removed me from the Neil Diamond Fan Club because I had this listed on their site.Never Apology of Neil Diamond ;-(

This guy should brush up on his Hammond history. the Hammond B3 was first made in 1935 not 55. it was made for more like 40 years.

No, actually, the MODEL B3 was first commercialised in 1955. the first Hammond organ was made in 1934 and presented to the public in 1935, and it's the A model, and from that year on they continued producing other models, before the B3 came out.

At the end of WW2, the BV was introduced, first with vibrato and made until 1947. In 1948 the B-2 was introduced adding split vibrato (assignable to either keyboard) and made until 1954. Then, in 1955 the B-3 was introduced adding percussion touch response. That ran until 1975. As of today, I’ve been servicing Hammonds for 49 years.
