It was a complete joy to see the Blue Diamond make an appearance. I am very curious as to why HomeLike is differentiating the Taiga. That will make ordering a confusing grab bag. This new soap lathers ferociously. I wish the cedar/patchouli scent had some staying power. This was a cracking shave till Robbie Burns' ghost decided to take a shower. Good evening Kevy! I watched this a day ago, but KZbin has prevented me from commenting until now. I do like looks of the Taiga razor. It is a shame they are not in stock. Speaking of out of stock, the Simpson Tafalgar T3 is out of stock at Maggard Razors. I really want to add to my Simpson collection. I have a Wee Scot and a Chubby 2 synthetic. Need to try a Wool fat type soap, Mitchell's and this one are on my list. Good to see another UK artisan 👌🇬🇧. I'd say my top blades are Nascets, 7 o clocks (yellow and green), Astra blue, Voskhod, and Minoras.

Nice shave Kevy💈💈 I shave too often to see the advantage of an open comb razor. Like you, I don't enjoy using them that much. Each to their own right... The soap looked like it lathered well, good option. No alum😮 Supermax Super Platinum blades are nice for my skin, haven't tried the other offerings. Great shave and review video as always. Stay safe. Kevy !!! Being an open comb, it is relatively soft it is perceived much more gentle, honestly I like the handle, by the way I thought that my shower was the only one that opened by itself now I see that it is something common or ghosts ....... ..........

That was a very close shave. I'll have to try your technique of increasing the adjustable setting on the pickups. You may have said in the past whether you preferred the Taiga over the Rex Ambassador? I can't go above 2.5 on my Rex. But I haven't used it for a couple of months since I got my Fatguy. I've been getting good shaves with that razor even at setting 5/6.

Kevy, Great shave. One of the complaints of the Taiga, is the adjustment knob (1-6) will move easily while shaving, compared to the Rex Ambassador. Kevy, what are your thoughts? The best to you, Mrs. Kevy and Riley.

The adjuster dial on this Taiga isnt as tight as the one on the Rex. However, the Taiga I have, the newer model is tighter than the earlier version. That's maybe because its still quite new or maybe they have tweaked it a little. Kevy 👍

NICE VID. Interesting soap; Dr Tantra.....I only know about tantric sex....good stuff. The Taiga: I think the ONLY attraction was when they included the OC plate, otherwise for $250 everyone in the US will chose the Rex over it....why even bother waiting months for it to come....take a risk...... I ordered a watch from Russia and it NEVER came--- done w Russia.There is something called: instant gratification. I tried the SuperMax blades as I share the Nacet preference w you , but found them rough....horrible. Good stuff, all these items are way way ahead of the run of the mill Canadian Club sub par third world sourced cheap but not inexpensive shave gear. Have a nice weekend.
