Firefighter Recruit Fitness Training - The Chester Treadmill Walk Test

The Chester Treadmill Walk Test is a part of the firefighter recruitment course and must be passed in order to proceed. This video acts as a training guide to make potential recruits aware of the test and help them prepare for it.
At selection and throughout your training as a firefighter, you will take a treadmill-based fitness test or a 20m bleep test to level 8.8, some strength tests, and a fire ground simulation test.
