Hampta Pass Chandratal Lake Trek is considered one of the easiest and most adventurous treks of Himachal Pradesh. Hampta Pass is situated on the easternmost part of the Pir Panjal range. According to one legend, Hampta Pass also got its name after a Rishi, Hampta Maharishi who meditated there.

Isnt Har ki Dun called Stairway to Heaven?

The folklore mentions they traversed through this route. And Har-ki-dun is the final ascend. But it's all the folklores, no concrete evidence as of now.

Both of them are equally amazing and have unique features to be cherished. If you are going for Rupin this year, go for Hampta next year. And if Hampta this year go for Rupin next year. We are going for Rupin on 15th May and 5th June. For Hampta we are leaving from 12th June onwards
