One the slide for Direct Strikes - Good Bonding, said to use clamps and not use solder...why is that?

What I learned: Make your tower and antennas pointy and lightning won't strike them. :)

Best thing to do it ARRL ins. $50 deductible. Homeowners ins $1000 deductible. He said his way has/was a disclaimer so is not going to work. OR just unhook the power and antennas to all of your equipment.

This could have been SO MUCH easier to watch if everyone wasn’t talking loudly in the background. Or a non omnidirectional mic might have helped.
