My robo has an Exotic Nutrition 9” silent runner. It’s $25, so more affordable than Niteangel’s similar one. It also has an adjustable back.

I used the Niteangel cloud wheel in the small size for my robo. It was fantastic for him and he really loved it. I now have a dwarf hamster and have the 10 inch Niteangel silent wheel. He has only been with my for one week but he really loves this wheel and he can run so well on it. Even better, both wheels are so quiet! That is important for me because the hamster cage is right by my bed. 😊

Both of my dwarf hamsters have the medium-sized niteangel acrylic wheel. It seems to be pretty great for both of them, and they're always running all night long! (In separate enclosures of course) The exotic nutrition silent runner is a great one too. I had that one for a Syrian hamster that I rescued and rehomed last year. He was a big guy though and even though it was the largest size hamster wheel, I felt like he would need an upgrade one day. 😁 Welcome back Munchie! I hope the rest of 2023 is kinder to you 💜💜

We have a 12 inch, wide wodent wheel that we used for our Syrian hamster (RIP Xochitl!) And he loved his wheel! Not sure what our next hammy will be or when we will get another one, but now I have a video to reference if we get something other than a syrian! We appreciate all the information you post!!

Another good hamster wheel is PetSmart’s 12” silent wheel. It is VERY bulky but has a wide wheel. My Syrian hamster loves it. He’s in a Pawhut so there’s plenty of room for it.

Thanks for the topic. I currently have all Niteangel wheels in my four enclosures as of earlier this week, my older dwarf hamster who doesn't run very often has an 8-inch open with the traction, my older Syrian has the 11-inch open wheel with traction, my younger dwarf has a 10-inch open smooth wheel. and my young Syrian boy just got an 11-inch smooth wheel. In the past, a long time ago I had the plastic wheels that came in the Habitrails, very noisy and the hamsters chewed on them. I also had a wire wheel in a 10-gallon tank when I had multiple hamsters from a litter and could not find people to adopt them, back in the 1970's. I feel very guilty now. 😔 When I got hamsters again in 2020, after nearly 2 decades without hamsters, I bought a couple Katee 12-inch wheels but they are a bit noisy and don't run smoothly. I also inherited a Carolina Storm wheel when adopting one of my hamsters which works okay but is difficult to fit in the enclosures because of the big base. I now use those in the play areas. I think I will purchase another 8-inch wheel for the dwarves' playtime because they can't use those other wheels.

In the UK (dont know if it can be brought elsewhere), you can get a bucatstate wheel, which is very similar to a niteangel wheel but cheaper.

I’m a Niteangel wheel user…well, not me, but my hams😂 I used to use Wodent Wherls, but since I’ve found Niteangel, I’ve not had to use anything else. Their wheels are sturdy and LAST for a long time. I am interested in trying their Cloud wheel, but both my hams pee in their wheels, so as of now, I’ll hold off.

Niteangel is my favorite brand! My dwarf hamsters have 10" wheels and my Syrians and Chinese hamsters have 12" wheels

I actually put my wheels in the dishwasher with not so dirty dishes or just alone. They sometimes come out deformed, but since they are colsed wheels from my local pet shop of which I can detach the front cover, they deform back easily.

I use the Niteangel large wheel for my Syrian... There is not a better wheel as the Niteangel is the BEST... I chose the color yellow as it was available at the time of purchase, as well as since my hamster is a native Texan Amarillo bred hamster, yellow counts...

I bought a new wheel from bucatstate that is also completely smooth. Similar to the niteangel one. I hope it will work well for a hybrid. Thanks for educating ❤️

I used to have a metal mash wheel things to Victoria Rachel and Muncie I upgrade to a kateey wheel and so far good experiences with them

Someday I’d love to have a long haired, male Syrian hamster. I still need to do more research before I decide if they’re a good fit for my future plans and events in my life that can’t be avoided but if they’re a good fit I’d love to have one

I have the 8 inch acrylic for when i soon get my hamster i even decided to put a gudatama sticker that says eggcercise on the center circle of mine. Im thinking between a dwarf and or a robo for my first hamster cause syrians need more and all that. Also i just wanna say the eeveelution poster is cute i love the eeveelutions.

I'm in the process of adopting a roborovski and I read in a few hamster husbandry sites that a big wheel is actually good for them, because they have better control over the speed. I was looking at an Exotic Nutrition Silent Runner 12" Regular (partially enclosed). Would you say that, in your experience, it would be too big? Thank you!

I know my breeder friend's at CHA used the 14" ones, not sure if they do now. But the classic upright wheel should just be the go to wheel style to avoid problems. That wheel however is great for Degus. :)

Acá en Colombia no hay mucha variedad y esos productos importados son muy caros. Yo le tengo una Carno silenciosa a mi hámster. Es grande y para el precio es lo mejor que se puede tener. Mi hámster es muy felíz. 🐹

I wish 30cm wasn't the biggest that you can buy, it just about works for female rats but it's way too small for males.
