I think there are cork liners for the big acrylic wheel so they have something to grip. Like a track that you can pop in, similar to a wodent wheel track that you can change out.

I have 6 of these wheels and they really are quiet (unless they hide their food in it as mine sometimes do). They are very easy to clean. I like the fact that I can adjust the height of the wheel so it can spin smoothly with tons of bedding in the enclosure. I too was very impressed with the care that Niteangel used in packaging the wheels for shipment. I have never seen a company take such care and time into packaging to ensure it will not break on its way to you.

I have the 12 inch for my syrian in pink, its amazing and he loves it. He runs on it all night long, it's very quiet all I can here is his little feet running all night. ❤ I wish more people bought appropriate sized wheels.

I have heard of issues with long tails getting stuck in the central screw of the pink wheels. To my knowledge, you can simply unscrew it though and the wheel is then perfectly safe 👍

I recently bought my Syrian hamster this wheel in Lavender (12 inch so people dont assume I bought a tiny one) anyways, my hamster loves it!!!! Sqhe spends so much time running in it and even sitting in it rocking back and forth. I want to add that I did have the wheel adjusted on the lower side but as soon as I adjusted to maybe 3/4 -1inch high, she loved it even more. Just wanted to add that in for anyone that notices their hamster isn't digging the wheel. Trying adjusting the height. Any for anyone worried about their hamster chewing the the back screw thing (no idea what its called) I have a chewer and she hasn't bot once chewed on it or tried to. Also, it's super cute hearing their little feet and hands running. I bought mine from Amazon 35 each plush free shipping and arrived quickly. Had them in multiple colors. Also, how they came package really really really surprised me. They come better packaged then an iPhone. It can even be reused to store the wheel of you either afraid moving to a new house or your hamster has passed away and you need time to get a new hamster. I highly recommend this model.

About the smooth wheel they do sell sandy strips for reptiles that adhere to surfaces. I have the 11 in pink one for my Syrian and I love it. The acrylic sand bath is INCREDIBLE.

I love Niteangel wheels. I had 3 syrians and 3 wheels. 2 L and 1 XL and will be upgrading to get 2 more XLs. Its slightly expensive but worthy investment. Very easy to clean poop and pee. Can do height adjustments. And no slits that my hamster can potentially injure themselves. Very silent as well. Very easy to push. 1 month old Babies can use them no problem.

The only issue you have to be aware of with the center hub bearing wheels are small animals with tails can get them stuck in the center hub.

just thought i would help y’all out. the 2 pink small & medium ones she’s got are the niteangel super silent and the Large one 12inch is a niteangel silent they are two different types. niteangel SUPERsilent and niteangel silent both have S,M, L size. but i personally recommend the supers silent just because they have the grips on the wheel so you hamster/mice/etc won’t slid/fly out of the wheel. hope this helped y’all

I got the Niteangel Super-Silent wheel. I believe it is the 8 inch one for my little dwarf hamster cinnamon. We both love it and she runs on it every night for hours and hours. I’m super happy that I bought it for her. I’m always searching the word Niteangel just hoping they got something new. 💖Niteangel💖

I’ve got these and I love them! The only downside is that they glide so easily that sometimes my animals run too fast and yeet themselves off. My hamster adjusted and stopped running so fast, but my gerbils do it on purpose I think. They’re little tanks.

We own the 8 inch for our dwarf and just upgraded our Syrian girl from the 10 inch to the 12 inch. I would never buy a different type of wheel for our babies-- these are the absolute best!

I'd highly recommend checking out the Carolina Storm UK Facebook page! I had one from there before my hammy passed away and omg it's the quietest wheel I've ever had. It's a bit pricy but for the silence and sturdiness it's totally worth it

We have an 8" Niteangel wheel for our dwarf hamster, Love it! It's so quiet and smooth, got the clear one but it has grips on the inside like the pink. I too have become a huge fan of Niteandel products.

I’ve got the very last wheel for my dwarf hamster the S size is already too smooth for them. I also noticed he kept slipping off while running, tho the design is one of the best. I may consider the pink series where there are grids on for safety. FYI it’s a acrylic wheel. It’s the most silent wheel I would say. Do not buy other brands just go ahead and invest in it. That’s it, no regrets

It has really helped our dwarf have more traction as well as trims his nails down!

I have the 10” wheel in blue for my gerbils, most expensive perches I’ve made for them, but totally worth it. The only thing I don’t like is that it can’t be attached to the side of the cage without additional washers.

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU for mentioning niteangel wheels in one of your vids. I was really sweating over a wheel for my two gerbils when I ran across one of your older vids describing gerbil care. I went out and looked at the niteangel wheels specifically because you mentioned them with such enthusiasm. I debated between the last one you mentioned and the clear version of the second to last model ( the clean version with no ridges comes in only small or large, but the ridged one comes in medium too) and eventually decided on the ridged version. My two girls LOVE it. I can’t get them off, they just take turns all day and into the night and sometimes double up, though one likes to really go fast and the other not so much so the paired running doesn’t usually last. I never hear the wheel, it runs so smooth. The only issue I have is that even with the ridges it can take a second or so for my gerbils to gain traction, but really, that’s it. It’s such a beautiful and useful product and I can’t thank you enough for mentioning it! -O

I have the cloud wheel for my robo and the cork liners and extra tracks are great! I used the cork liner for extra comfort for Speedy and he sure loves the different texture. If niteangel ever did a subscription box, sign me up!

Like Megan Schmidt here, I love this wheel! I've purchased it in several sizes and colors for my gerbils. Very silent, does not break, wobble, crack, or squeak, and adjustable stand. I drill holes in the stand and zip tie it to the top of my gerbil's cage.

This was a great video! I have a small and large open colored wheel, small for my hybrid dwarf and the large for my Syrian hamster. They're really great! The small one occasionally squeaks, but adding some oil to the axle in the back fixes the issue right away! I also just got the water bowl for my dwarf, and it's great so far. It has higher sides than the one I used before, so she gets less bedding in it. I have to use a metal bird bowl with rocks in it for my Syrian hamster though because she moves stuff too much and it has a ring stand that I mounted to the side of her bin cage haha

I tried the toilet sand (blue) as you talked about it. Yeah, finding it to be have best odour control out of all the sands I’ve tried (tried 6 sand types before). It clumps for a bit too! It’s expensive where I live. Decided to use it in my robo’s sand pit where my robo is not fully litter trained. For my litter trained dwarf, I use a more affordable reptile sand for his toilet sand & change the sand or spot clean the soiled part daily. Have Niteangel wheels for my hammies. Love them. Good quality and really silent!

I have the first one you show but it’s white I really like and my hamster likes running on it. She is a winter white that is 4 months old. When I first got her she had a really small wheel then a flying saucer and now she has had the niteangel wheel since March. And I got her at the end of January near the beginning of February. she lives in a wooden tortoise habitat.

I got the 10” wheel for my hamham. What an upgrade! The ONLY drawback is that the wheel is made of two plastic pieces snapped together. The ham peed, and it seeped into the crack. 5% of it won’t come out after soaking and scrubbing. Otherwise everything is amazing! Thanks for the reviews, helps me sooooo much in taking care of my hamham 🍖🍖💕

I got the last clear wheel but in a smaller size. The wooden circle did get chewed on the edges but the placement and shape makes it hard to chew on. My hamster did slip off at first but you can say that his nails added texture. My only problem is that it’s so quiet that I get worried about if his okay when I don’t see him for a few days. His cage is 4 feet from my bed.

Ooo thick plastic. I have seen so many gerbils destroy the wooden wheel . I’m so lucky that’s not happened to me yet! I don’t think night angel ships to the uk. I love the tick tack wheel but it’s very pricey and the stand is plastic I think. I don’t have a wire tank topper.

You can place the bowls on a plateau. Its not ment to set it on the bedding. I prefer bowls since my hamster prefers bowls over bottles. Bottles also have an issue to sometimes stop working without me noticing it. It could actually kill your hamster. Happily I was on time but there are people that arent.

Most people would recommend a traditional wheel, saucers can be used as enrichment but they can also cause back-bending. I personally only use traditional wheels.

hello! just wanted to ask had you have problems with the silent wheel where pee sips through the gaps between the 2 pieces? eg. the small gap between the pink and clear sections, my syrian pees on his wheel sometimes and i keep finding the dried pee stuck between them, some scrubbing does help to get them off but some stays there 😭 is there anyway to separate the pieces?

I am repeating this comment. I first placed it on the video about Thin Mint. I am planning a trip to Washington State, to visit my niece and nephew in about 6 weeks or so. Would it be possible to get together and adopt one of your rescued fur-babies. I lost my fur- baby about a year ago and have not been able to locate a new baby that I liked. I have a cage that is 65 in. × 22 in. × 30 in. It is kinda tall but has 2 floors with 4 wooden bendy ladders to climb. 3 different styles of hides lots of bedding and tunnels to her to run into and tunnel. 2 -water bottles , 1 - 10x10 sand bath , 1 12in yellow silent runner. I did diy 2 of her hisea from popsicle sticks and one of them I purchased a large yellowish igloo.

Pine shavings are not good the give them a respitory problems instead use paper beddin but with no scent or aspen and no cedar to.

Try Amazon! They seem to always have them in stock on there. As for 10 inch for a dwarf, ours struggles with the one we have in his playpen. He runs perfectly on the 8 inch in his enclosure, but struggles to stop and kinda yeets himself a lot on the 10 inch. It would probably be best to go for the 8 inch for him!

I haven't seen my hamster in 2 days. He's new and we moved him into a tank and he's been burrowing, but I haven't seen him since we moved him in there. I can hear him chewing, but he doesn't take any food, and I haven't seen him drink water. I've been up all night and no sign. What should I do?

Give him time. But he's probably up when you are asleep. It's not dangerous for the hamster or anything, but I would add small amounts of good smelling food at the same time every day and hope he learns the time and comes out

Watching this so sad. My Robo escaped its detolf by I think being thrown from her NITEANGEL wheel and out of the cage. I have a 3 part lid and the one of the wheel was open about 3 inches. I could have swore it was correctly on. I’ve put food water and a small cage& other containers in every single room of my apartment and I have not seen her whatsoever. I’ve been in tears for days now. 😭😭
